We are pleased to present a beautiful XIV° century Castle upon the sea with swimming pool and private beach located right in the town centre of Vico Equense. The Castle is ideally located to reach the amazing sites of Pompei, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi. Ravello, Capri, Naples. This is one of the most charming area of Italy. The structure offers stunning self catering apartments of different sizes from studios to 4 bedrooms flats. The train and the bus stations are only a few minutes walking. Pool available from Avril until October. Private beach by lift or stairs. Costs of the beach services from June 15th until September 15th are: 4,00 € per day for sunbed and 0,40 € each way for the lift, when our private beach is served and there is a woodden platform. You can have a wonderful holiday in the castle, the perfect base for exploring Naples & the Amalfi coast. Vico Equense is a lovely place to stay with plenty of bars and restaurants in a truly spectacular location.

2 rooms self-catering apartment with kitchenette and bathroom: 4 people. There is only stairs between the 2 rooms without a door. Upstairs bedroom with a queensize bed for 2 and bathroom with shower enclosure. Downstairs table for 4, and sofabed with 2 single beds + kitchenette. Very nice location, romantic or family suitable. A parking lot is included in the price, but car is not necessary because this amazing castle upon Naples bay is located into the center of a lovely village called Vico Equense at 10 minuts walking from the CIRCUMVESUVIANA TRAIN STATION. 10 km from Sorrento, 20 km from Positano, 17 km from Pompeii, 40 km from Naples, near Capri, Ravello, Amalfi, Ercolano, Volcano Vesuvius. The castle is in the center of one the most beautiful area of Italy. The castle is a truly spectacular location at the centre of this amazing area where you can have a genuine taste of Italy: history, art, stunning views, friendly people, mild climate from March until December, pizza, ice cream

This property is the real castle perched on the cliffs and overlooking the Bay of Naples. The views from the huge terrace are truly spectacular. The common rooms in the castle are complete with domed and frescoed ceillings with lovely gardens surrounding the front.
The owner was very friendly and helpful, giving me maps, information about sights and transport, and showing me around the castle. He also gave me his phone number in case I had any further queries.
The location of the castle is excellent, in just 2 miinutes you can walk to the town centre and the train station is only a 7 min walk.
There is so much to see in this area that I decided to extend my stay to 2 weeks. Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Positano, Naples, Mt Versuvius, Pompeii and Capri are all within easy access.
The apartment is nice and spacious and has a basic kitchenette with 2 burner stove, bar fridge and all cooking and eating utensils, however you can easily walk to good cafes in town.
I think the setting and location is unbeatable and it is certainly great value for money. Thank you very much for your kindness Lucio.
