Situated at 640m altitude, it benefits from cool evening breezes in summer. Only 10min from the lively working village of Gaucin. Many restaurants & bars, an authentic flamenco taberna, and the gorgeous castle with a 360º view of the area. The house is a recent renovation of an agricultural building. Stone floors throughout, ample terraces, 2 wood-burning stoves, unlimited supply of firewood, lovely natural gardens. Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen/dining rm, fireplace opening onto a covered terrace for alfresco dining; Bedroom w/ dbl bed & single bed & en-suite bathroom - Air-con/heated; Utility room w/ washing machine & access to small terrace for hanging clothes. First floor:Living room w/satellite TV & internet connection, 2 spacious terraces, 1 w/ dramatic view of El Hacho mountain; Bedroom, bathroom.

Or you can just chill out, in the tranquility and authenticity of a working Spanish pueblo. The area is a paradise for hikers with many marked trails, and for birdwatchers , it is in the migratory path to Africa. The house has all mod cons, incl. flat screen TV, top quality beds & linens, 2 fireplaces.
