Self-catering rental, spacious villa sleep 10 with lots of sports opportunities

The counrty house is nestled off the beaten tracks at 10 minutes from the city Aix en Provence surrounded by oak trees, beautiful lavander-field , orleanders and roses. Facing due south, the architect-designed house has a very large living room and wide sliding doors open up to the flowered terrace and outdoor dining area. Our tennis-court is protected against wind and you can play all year round.The 5 hectare totally enclosed grounds has a amateur 3 hole golfgreen (astroturf/plastic) with 9 tee offs from the rough ground ( par 4: 236 m ), a full sized professional, hard surface tennis court, a swing; the swimming pool is impressive 15 x 4 m with diving board and an isle is separating an additional shallow area. In the park and by the swimming pool with the 'summer kitchen' there are several cosy sitting areas and sunchairs.

There is a vineyard and a fig tree with a never ending supply of figs. No pets allowed. No smoking inside the house, please. Children are welcome.

An argeeable walk along the vineyard (1km) brings you into the little, busy village Eguilles where you find all you need for your daily life. 10km by car or bus you brings to Aix en Provence it was an old roman settelment with warm springs and a rather important city. The town itself is a jewel of a Provencal town,everywhere fontaines and a outdoor market open every day of the year.

The three small bedrooms upstairs all connected to terraces , Room 2 and 3 both have queen-size beds, room 4 has 2 single beds. Upstairs there are a bathroom, WC and the the light blue room has a showerroom with basin The house is very well isolated , the walls are 40cm thick , cosy warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Notes:
Cozy and spacious living room, dining room and a library - through large glass doors, lovely views in to the garden. Very good central heating and an over sized fireplace. Fully equipped, modern kitchen opens up to a sunny terrace with an other fire place outside and a large table for 8-10. This is the best part of the house almost all year around. This magnificent Provençal villa with its 5 hectares, gives you a lot of privacy and the comfort of being within 10 minutes in the centre of Aix en Provence. Outdoors is our swimming pool (15m long), tennis court, private golf course...... Nearby our house there is the golf course of Les Milles, Set Club and Pont Royal. Horse back riding is possible.(next door)

Delightful property in beautiful grounds charmingly decorated with highly original ceramics. The tennis court was a great addition. The sofa room upstairs is probably best suited to children. The guardian and gardener were both charming and helpful and the village of Eguilles is close enough for the more energetic to jog out for the breakfast croissants. Recommended!

We had a wonderful time at your house in Provence. We greatly enjoyed
the house, property, and pool (it was very hot!). We did many day
trips to various places including Aix, Les Beaux, Cassis, Point du
Guard, Avignon, Arles, Marseilles, and St Cannat. It's a beautiful
region.
