Highly desirable, 'designer' 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with large terrace. Air conditioning. Large fully fitted kitchen. Luxury bathrooms. Satellite TV and DVD. The fitness complex offers indoor pool, gym, sauna and Turkish bath. Close to shops, restaurants, beaches, golf courses and water parks. Beautifully furnished throughout, it’s fully air conditioned and has everything you could wish for that perfect holiday. There’s a spacious living/dining area, a ‘dream’ kitchen with fully fitted Bosch appliances, bedrooms with top quality beds (one even has a visco-elastic mattress for troublesome backs!) and stylish bathrooms with underfloor heating – a real treat. Outside, there is a lovely large dining terrace and garden area where you can relax and enjoy the famous Algarve sunshine. The apartment’s special features include a surround sound system, a satellite flat screen TV and DVD player for those ‘chill out’ moments. A small safe is also fitted.

Praia de Gale is less than 10 minutes by car and offers restaurants overlooking the sea serving fresh fish, miles of lovely sandy beaches with hidden coves and stunning views, together with water sports in season. There are several attractions nearby to entertain the whole family. Zoo marine with its dolphin and parrot shows is perfect for children, while water parks Slide and Splash, Aquatic and the Big One are within very easy driving distance too. EXPLORING: there are so many interesting places not too far from Guia that are well worth visiting. You could start at the 17th century local village church with its statues and famous azulejo tile pictures then go to Monchique with its famous spa up the mountains, or perhaps to Silves, where you could have lunch and look around the Moorish Castle. Street markets feature in many of the villages and these can be fascinating. Alternatively head for Villamoura to be with the jet set at this marina with boutiques, shops and restaurants

Notes: We ask that there is no smoking inside the apartment, however on the terrace or in the garden there is no problem. The apartments have a gated entrance with key code entry and the underground car park has remote controlled doors. All windows have electric blinds as well as curtains. This is a ground-floor apartment, accessible without the need to climb any stairs. There are some steps down to the garden area however, which is at the very front of the property. Within the leisure centre, there is not only a heated swimming pool and recreational area which is all air-conditioned, but also a well equipped gym, pool table room, sauna and steam room. It has full changing and toilets facilities. The roof terrace has a large sun area and a separate and very pretty decked garden section. These facilities are free to use by all guests. The apartment provides a weekly maid service, including a bed linen and towel change. A welcome pack is provided for your arrival.

The Algarve is a popular destination for golfers and Guia is central to them all - the whole region offers around 25 to choose from and more are planned! The closest is Salgados, located on the flat lands behind the beach at Gale (under 10 mins by car). The 18-hole Par 72 course also has a driving range and putting green, pro shop, restaurant and bar. we would like to thankyou for the letting us stay in your beautiful apartment it was everything you descriped clean desiable gale beach and albufeira a short taxi ride away we were very lucky to meet very nice local people to take us where we wanted to go we had some lovely meals in few local resturants one which was in paladium we will certianly will be back again dorothy and raymond

We had a lovely time at your appartment,it was so spacious and beautifully furnished and everything was there that you would need.
The location was excellent and the boys made use of all the leisure fascillities everyday, which was a real bonus !

On arrival to faro airport we followed the owners instructions to the apt, which we found were very straight forward and were at the apt within approx 30 mins. we were pleased to find the apt as described, and were impressed with its size and specification. We hired a car with holiday auto's which was competitive and stress free, and within the airport ,we would definately recommend car hire as guia is a small village with a few nice restaurants but relatively quiet, however a short 10 min drive to gale, you will find a nice beach, with a couple of nice restaurants for lunch and drinks. also situated in gale is everisto beach which has a fabulous seafood restaurant, which comes highly recommended. To sum up our week spent in portugal we found the locals to be very friendly, the seafood superb and the climate ideal .
The owners manual is very thorough and we have to agree with their restaurant choices. (if you are looking for a very special and EXPENSIVE evening, which is to die for then book a table and an experience at VILLA JOYA (2 michelin star) expect to pay 200 euro's per head inc wine!!!!
A most enjoyable stay.

Thank you to Nigel and Rosie for providing a beautiful appartment which totally lived up to expectations and more! It is very much 'our style' as we thought it would be from the information given and we immediately felt at home. The facilities are in the luxury bracket and we enjoyed them all.
We would certainly recommend this appartment to anyone wishing to experience the lovely town of Guia and surrounding area and we were particularly impressed with the comprehensive and useful information provided - you didn't forget anything!

A great find

What can I say that hasn't already been said - a fantastic apartment with everything you would need for a wonderful holiday. All mod cons - and the air conditioning in the rooms was fantastic as we had unusually hot weather!

The small welcome pack left in the kitchen was also a nice surprise - thank you!

Great location for the village of Guia, with plenty of good restaurants and bars...highly recommend The Palladium just around the corner.

Our only negative (which is totally out of the control of the owners of the apartment) is the close proximity to the school. The loud music they had a habit of playing late afternoon meant quiet times outside were not always possible.

It was unfortunate that your stay co-incided with the end of the infant school year, as some of the celebrations for school leavers did apparantly involve music in the school playground which could be heard from the apartment block. However, we can assure other potential guests that such noise is rare from this small school.
