This stunning rural finca, built in 2000 in traditional style, is a haven of tranquillity being set in an ancient two acre olive grove in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. The fabulous swimming pool is set away from the house. Unusually, the two guest bedrooms are both in individual buildings, each with its own private terrace that enjoys breathtaking views over the rolling Majorcan countryside The air conditioning in all the bedrooms ensure that they are cool in the summer and the open log fire and central heating guarantee warmth through the cooler months. S’Alqueria Petita (1,900 sq ft/175 sq m) has no close neighbours but is within easy walking distance of the charming village of Caimari, which has two general stores, a tabac, bank, chemist, bars and an excellent family run restaurant. There are wonderful beaches less than half an hour’s drive as are both Palma and Pollenca. Several golf courses are even closer. There is plenty on offer in under an hours drive

Location: Majorca (Mallorca) < Spain

Car: necessary
There are a variety of beaches within 30 minutes drive and several challenging golf courses nearby. The house is a good centre for the wide variety of walks of varying lengths to be found in the mountains which are directly behind the house. Horse riding is available locally. For keen cyclists bicycles can be hired in Inca, which is 10 minutes away . The caves of Campanet are 10 minutes away from the house. Good bird watching especially during the migration when up to 120 species may be seen. For the more adventurous, climbing caving and canyoning are all possible. Inca is the centre of Spain’s leather industry and the many factory shops provide tempting bargains. The many local weekly markets are also a good source of presents. Palma with its magnificent Cathedral and fascinating old quarter is less than 30 minutes drive (and is also accessible by train from Inca). Finally, and most importantly, there are many good restaurants within 10 minutes drive

    The above prices are for the property.
    There will be a heating supplement in Oct to March.
    We ask for a 30% deposit to be paid at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation, it will be refunded if we are able to arrange for the property to be re-let.
    We will be as flexible as possible as to change over date other than in July, August and September when it is a Saturday.
    We do ask guests to leave the property by 10.30.
    We prefer to be paid in Euros at the rate ruling at the time of the payment.

Notes: Weekly cleaning and pool maintenance service. Linen and towels are provided (but please bring your own swimming towels) Provisions can be bought prior to your arrival if required. A cook specialising in local dishes (e.g. paella) can be arranged for special occasions. Spa treatments are available within close proximity of the finca and Ayurvedic massages can be arranged in-house. The house is surrounded by two acres of mature gardens and ancient olive trees. The swimming pool is set within the two acre garden. NB It is unfenced and well away from the house.
