Stay in the best neighborhood in all of San Francisco. This designer Marina Flat just underwent a complete renovation and is luxuriously appointed. You'll feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort, but with 5x the space! It is ideally located on a quiet residential block two blocks from the water and in between Golden Gate Bridge, Shops/Restaurants of Chestnut and Union Streets, Fisherman's Wharf and the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts. Imagine jogging/walking out of your flat along the water of Chrissy Field, stopping by to feed the ducks at the Palace of Fine Arts, followd by a leisurely lunch or dinner on Chestnut Street while you people watch. The marina is a quick jaunt, bus or taxi ride to any of the sights in San Francisco, whether it be the farmer's market at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, visiting curvy Lombard St. or the San Francisco Zoo. Also within 2 blocks is Safeway and right across the street is Moscone Park equipped with an incredible children's playground, basketball and tennis courts, and putting green.
This large light filled 1900 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom flat is beautifully decorated and furnished with flat screen t.v.s, a Bang and Olufsen CD stereo system, free wifi, and even a high tech massage chair to relax in after all the sightseeing! An eastern king bed is in the master, while the second bedroom has two twin beds. A designer Italian kitchen completely renovated in January 2013 is fully equipped. Also completely renovated is the master bathroom with a walk-in marble and granite spa shower and a designer vanity with travertine slab sink. A laundry room with new washer/dryer will make your stay easy. A full size air mattress is available. For those unfamiliar to the marina area, our property is located in what we feel is the best part of the neighborhood. We are strictly a no pets, no parties, no smoking property. This is a family flat in a two unit building. Please respect our neighbors. 4 NIGHT MINIMUM ONLY.

My husband and I lived in the marina (while single and during the early years of our marriage) for its vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, and ability to run/bike along the marina green. We loved to hike the Baker Street steps on the weekends for the fabulous location and views. Now with 2 kids, we decided to move up to Sonoma County where we enjoy golf, tennis, and red wine!!

We chose to live in the marina for the ample number of activities available, whether it be indoors or out.
We enjoyed walking down to the water for a run or leisurely stroll along the marina green to the warming shed for some hot chocolate or down to the Palace of Fine Arts to watch the swans. Walking a couple of blocks in the other direction to Chestnut street is still a favorite activity, whether its to grab some coffee and a bagel in the morning or to try one of the many amazing restaurants for lunch or dinner.
We had a very pleasant stay in San Francisco. The Marina area was a great location for all our needs. Walking distance to Fisherman's wharf and Fort Mason, as well as many local restaurants and shops. Grocery store only a couple blocks away.
The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and bright and sunny. A wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen and bathrooms are very modern and well designed. The shower with skylight and water settings was particularly nice. The beds are very comfortable.
Swati was easy to communicate with. She was responsive to our questions and needs.
I would certainly recommend this property to others looking for a quiet, safe, and relatively flat neighborhood in San Francisco. Street parking was not a problem.
Will certainly stay here if we have the chance to visit San Francisco again.

Wonderful flat that comfortably accomodated my family of five. Kitchen and bathrooms were modern and renovated and the beds were comfortable. Great, safe neighborhood within walking distance to supermarket and excellent restaurants. The flat was clean and nicely decorated with modern conveniences (cable TV, wifi, etc) and really enjoyable.
The Marina is a perfect base for an active San Francisco vacation and this is a wonderful flat with a responsive owner. Fort Mason very near. Don't miss a Greens Restaurant there. If gourmet vegetarian isn't your thing, there are plenty of good restaurants on Chestnut. Fisherman's wharf and Pier 39 within walking distance if you are up for a little exercise. Public transportation convenient if not. Beautiful views of Golden Gate Bridge short walk away. Safeway very close. Grab some sourdough for toast and grilled cheese, and enjoy!
We stayed two months in this beautiful apartment. I highly recommend this place. Excellent location-many restaurants, beach, Safeway round the corner. Honestly it is the best district in SF. My family rent an apartment every year and it was the best choice. Owners are very reasonable and ready to help.
I stayed in this wonderful 2 BR flat with my family (2 kids - 15 and 11) in the summer for about 8 days. I have used VRBO extensively in SF in the Cow Hollow and Marina area. We used to live in SF and love the Marina neighborhood with its access to Chestnut, Union and Fillmore street.
This is a more upscale flat than the others I have stayed at. The interiors have been tastefully remodeled and are practical at the same time. There is plenty of street parking - this is a huge plus!
The owner is helpful, friendly and accommodating. She was out of the country during our stay but arranged everything beforehand and was very flexible with our needs. I highly recommend this place and we will surely revisit.
This rental property is in the heart of the Marina district, and walking distance to great restaurants on Chestnut Street, Marina park, Safeway Food store, and even Fisherman’s Warf. Easily accommodates a family of 5 and you do not need a rental car at this location. Easy access to public transportation. We had one small issue, and the owner was quick to respond and resolve the issue. This property is great for a vacation if you want to “live like a local”. I would stay in this location, and this property again. Be sure to check out “Food Truck Friday” at Fort Mason – definitely a locals thing to do.
