Notes on accommodation:
Inside the house there is a big sitting with dining area, fully equipped kitchen and fireplace, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor there are two bedrooms sharing one bathroom and a second sitting area.
Wooden ceiling, wooden floor on the first level with wooden loft (sitting area) and antique furniture. Air-conditioning in all rooms and the sitting/dining area. The villa is ideal for children of all ages.
Outside:
The villa is surrounded by big gardens immersed in the green with pine, poplar and palm trees, eucalyptus, bougainvilleas and roses. There is a big patio surrounded by trees where you can enjoy your meal or rest on the swing. A big built-in barbecue is to be found at the gardens. The large shaded verandas are ideal for resting or dining ‘al fresco’ with great view to the gardens and the sea. In the gardens behind the house you can find a lot of fruit-bearing trees of all kinds (orange, fig, lemon trees etc.)
Location:
Lefkimi traditional village, the main village in the south of the island, is a 5 minute drive way. Corfu town is about 45km from the house. The villa is approximately 45km from Corfu airport and port. The port of Corfu is linked daily to the main Italian ports. Taxis are available, also it is convenient to rent a car. Lefkimi's traditional port is a 5 minute walk from the house. The important port of Igoumenitsa is linked many times daily to Lefkimi’s port with small ferries. Daily excursions to Paxi, Antipaxi and Parga are organized every weekend from Lefkimi's port. Paxi and Antipaxi are small beautiful islands near Corfu and ideal resorts.
