Casalino is a fine farmhouse a few kms from the castle of Monteriggioni, less than twenty minutes from Siena. Sitting easily in its beautiful countryside, this large stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored, conserving all the features that give it its special character, including the gated courtyard. Stone walls show traces of history in the hint of a Romanesque window here or a stone lintel there. The permanent home of a Sienese doctor and his family, they have made two apartments to let: Il Porcile, in the former pigsty, and Il Gatto, on the ground floor of the main farmhouse. They have dedicated the same care and attention to quality and detail in creating these apartments as they have to their own.
