Are you looking for a 'home away from home' experience for your next family vacation? Please check out what our condo on the beautiful Bahama Bay Resort has to offer! A typical day might begin with a family breakfast prepared in our fully equipped kitchen, with ample dining area. Then it's off to enjoy the multitude of activities that surround the area. What to do first? The resort is just a 10-15 minute drive to all of the Disney Theme Parks, as well as golf courses and shopping centers.

Sea World, Universal Studios and Lego land are close by as well. An easy day trip to the east takes you to Daytona Beach & Speedway, or the Kennedy Space Center, while a day trip west lands you at the beautiful Clearwater Beach or spring baseball camps. After making some great family memories it's time to come 'home' for some relaxation in a Bahamian themed resort environment. Perhaps you will just watch some movies on the new flat screen TV, rent some DVD's at the clubhouse, or enjoy the WiFi internet provided free of charge to all guests of this condo. Then it's time for a good nights sleep . . . sweet dreams!

You wake up to another gorgeous, sunny day! The great thing about staying in our condo is that you don't have to leave to have a great time. Perhaps you'll choose to enjoy your morning coffee in the screened in patio off the Master Bedroom, or sip an afternoon lemonade sitting in the larger screened in patio off the Living Room area. If soaking in some sunshine is more to your liking, a heated pool and hot tub are just steps away . . . one of four pools on the resort. If it is activity that you are looking for, look no further than out your front door, where you will find the lighted tennis and basketball courts. Perhaps the walking/running trail around the fountain pond is more to your liking. From the kids land and water play area, to the arcade and pool tables, to the spa and fitness center, there is something here for the kid in all of us!

Now that you've worked up an appetite it sounds like a great time to eat out . . . and that is something you can do without leaving the resort! The Tradewinds Restaurant or Mambo's Poolside Grille offer great food for a reasonable price. Perhaps an evening stroll around the resort to unwind from a busy day is in order. The gated-community provides that extra sense of security that you need to enjoy the outdoors, day or night. The tropical vegetation throughout the entire resort lends itself to a relaxing get away that you are sure to enjoy!

We live in the rural Midwest and work in the agricultural industry. We own rental properties on the Bahama Bay Resort and the Regal Palms Resort.

Why Robert Kienow chose Bahama Bay

We are from the Midwest and have enjoyed several vacations to the Orlando area with our family and friends. When we started looking for a warm place that we could 'escape' to during our cold winters, this was an obvious good fit. Bahama Bay is conveniently located near I-4 in the middle of sunny Florida. We enjoy the wide variety of things there are to do in this area, yet return to a quiet and secluded 'resort home' to unwind and relax.

What makes this condo unique

We especially enjoy the living area, including the screened in patios, as a place to relax. We LOVE having a pool just outside to the back! We utilize the kitchen for our breakfast prior to heading out for the day, and for our evening meal once we return. Having the washer and dryer in the condo eliminates having to pack an over abundance of clothes for an extended stay. The spacious rooms gives everyone in our family their own 'space'--something we all need at the end of a busy day!

We had a great month at this rental and would recommend it to anyone. It was centrally located and we enjoyed being able to take many day trips. Celebration is a great place to relax and if you go there, be sure and order their wonderful Key Lime Pie. Thank you Bob & Sharon, for letting us rent your condo. It was perfect for us and also my sister.

Bahama Bay great place to stay

We spent a quiet relaxing time at BB. The condo is close to the pool but it was not noisy at all. The touch pad entry is a great asset especially with grandchildren visiting no worry of key loss. The staff at BB are very friendly and helpfull. It was great to walk to the Clubhouse for a hot (free) cup of coffee any time of the day. Bob you have a great vacation condo. We will be returning next year.

Everything was perfect

Thank you for sharing your condo with my wife and me. We had a great two weeks at Bahama Bay. The condo was just as described, clean, well maintained, and very accessible to everything at BB and the surrounding area. Many nice golf courses and restaurants within minutes. This was our 3rd year of staying near Orlando for anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. This was the all around best experience as far as everything went. Bob was a pleasure to deal with. Always responded quickly and all transactions went very smoothly.

My wife and I are already talking about next year and hoping everything works out with coming back to your condo, hopefully for even a little longer. As I said your condo was great in so many ways, size, location, and surroundings. Thanks again!

Relaxing atmosphere

We spent 3 weeks at the Bahama Bay Resort and enjoyed every minute. Beautiful grounds, clean and green, 4 pools and a restaurant along with tennis courts and exercise room. Very central to all activities in the area. Our 3 bedroom condo was just as described with private pool in back and screened sitting area for reading the daily paper. As my wife said, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. We will certainly stay here again.

Relaxing Get-away

This was our first winter trip and what a fantastic get-away location! We enjoyed the very spacious condo - so roomy and welcoming. The kitchen was very well-equiped - even includes a dishwasher! The pool and hot tub were within steps. We golfed twice at a nearby golf course with orange trees scattered throughout the course - nothing we have on our home course! We enjoyed eating at the Santa Fe Cattle Company and Wildside Bar and Grill - both very close to the resort. Bahama Bay has such a relaxing atmosphere. It's very private since it is a gated resort. We are definitely going to stay longer the next time we come to Florida and have been recommending this resort condo to our friends. Thank you Bob and Sharon for sharing your home with us.
