Golf Mecca

My wife and I stayed at this condo in late October. We were there for a week of golf at the area courses and some shopping & local tourist stuff. The on premises course, the King & Bear, was subtlety challenging while the Slammer & Squire (a few miles away) was a little more open yet had a character of it's own. After a few emails and then a couple of phone calls with the owner we felt very this was a place we could feel safe. He was helpful about local Mall outlets and St Augustine about 20 miles way. He gave us time and money saving tips about the area courses and places to eat. The condo was very comfortable. The bed was one of the best we have slept in. The unit was clean and more than enough room for my wife and I. We used the hot tub near the local pool on 2 occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. We took a short tour of the spa and while time did not lend itself for us to use it's services if that is your thing, wow, you won't be disappointed. While we did see a few people and while there were always at least 20 cars in the parking lot of our wing we only heard 2 noises the whole time. So restful. The only downside for me was the broadband. Public nor private broadband wasn't available. The home owners association are between carriers. If you can use your smart phone to tether or create a hot spot you'll be fine. While I've done these type of rentals in the past I must say that this owner was the most helpful and courteous owner we have ever rented from.
