Surfing enthusiasts will appreciate the easy access to the infamous S-Curves which are just accross the house. Use the binoculars and telescope provided at Endless Views to get up close to the dolphins that frequent the surf or the variety of birds that visit the Pea Island Nature Preserve.
Known as a 'Birder's Paradise'', Pea Island Nature Preserve offers one of the greatest concentration of ecotourism activities like bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, beachcombing, surfing, sound angling, and nature photography.

From spring to autumn, a large variety of wading, shore and upland birds can be seen.
See the wild horses, take outback tours and visit the 4 wheel drive area on the northern beaches of the Outer Banks. There are 26 miles of beach and dunes for 4x4 beach driving.

Warms and windy - great wave watching! Incredible sunsets and sunrises. Stop by Austin's seafood for scallops and shrimps. Pea iland Art gallery is also a must see.
The marshes to the north gave us a good chance to watch the birds, especially a fine heron who often spent part of the day at his favorite haunt off to the right.
