The villa is self -catering offering luxurious accommodation in a rural setting.

A beautiful and luxurious villa with salt water swimming pool. The villa ' ILGelso' is set in a large private garden. There is a spacious patio surrounding the beautiful salt water pool. There are two gazebos, one for dining al fresco, perfect for those warm barmy evenings, the second has built in seating

The Trullo has been lovingly restored maintaining many of the original features. Furniture is stylish with a relaxed elegance. IL Gelso has beautiful spacious rooms throughout. The accommodation comprises of a large master suite with en suite, french doors leading out onto the patio. 1 Double bedroom with its own dressing room and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. A twin room with separate dressing room and access to the J & J bathroom. A beautifully appointed lounge with views onto the pool. A spacious comfortable dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped with top of the range equipment.

The villa is perfect for groups of friends or families looking for stylish luxury

Extra linen changes can be arranged if required at an additional charge.

We have just spent a week at the Trulli El Gelso.and were very sad to leave I wish we had booked it for longer. The Trulli is beautiful. It is very comfortable, clean, and the photos don't do it justice! The owners have furnished it to a very high standard with a great eye for detail and design. There is everything you need and more The exterior matches the interior for beauty. The garden is wonderful mix of olive trees, fruit trees, fragrant lavender and other plants. The pool is fantastic! It is satiated amongst olive groves and is an easy drive to Alberobello which has a great weekly market, fruit/veg shop, butchers shop, a cheese shop, small and larger supermarkets, wine shops and a selection of very nice restaurants etc etc etc! A great base to explore this wonderful region of Italy. A PERFECT 10/10!

What more could anyone ask for.
A superb property furbished to the highest standards in a fabulous location.
Peace and tranquility abound.
We stayed for a week as a mature family and can't wait to get back in 2012.
Nothing was too much trouble for Anita and Pino. Their recommended places to visit and eat proved to be a hit on each day that we ventured out though it was hard to tear ourselves away from such beautiful surroundings.
We have been very happy to recommend Il Gelso to our family and friends and look forward to getting back there soon.
This is "Trulli" a 5 star property!

Il Gelso is a wonderful place to stay. The trullo is beautifully renovated and ideally situated for exploring Puglia. We enjoyed some lazy days by the fabulous pool as well as some great trips out. The property is large, plenty big enough for three or four couples and astonishingly well equiped. It is furnished to a high standard, was spotless when we arrived and is every bit as lovely as it looks in the photos. Anita and Pino were extremely good hosts, welcoming and responsive when we needed them and respectful of our privacy too. We had a really good time and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I return to Puglia.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

Cant remember the last time we felt so relaxed

Our batteries are definitely recharged. Lovely private Trullo and the pool is beautiful. We havn't done half the things we wanted to, its just too relaxing here. We have really enjoyed our stay- wonderful
