Enjoy this beautiful cabin in a secluded mountain location. We made this a getaway lodge to enjoy the outdoors, family and to create great memories. We are located near many outdoor festivals, golf, hiking, and water sports.
Deer Valley is a Gated Communuty with paved roads, a pavillion with fireplace, and volleyball.
We have a King Bed Suite upstairs, a Queen Bed Suite downstairs and a full size trundle bed in the huge loft that sleeps 2 with private access to a full bathroom. A King bed air mattress can also be used in the loft area.
There is always something to do close by to keep everyone entertained. Please email us for a comprehensive list of activities.
We are pet-freindly and want you to enjoy your 4 legged canine members. A non refundable deposit of $50.00 per visit will be charged for cleaning the cabin.
We opted not to install a land line but we do have good cell access.
The cabin offers a family environment for all ages to enjoy. Relax in front of the wood burning stove and watch the mountains from the large picture windows or watch your favorite show on our flat panel TV with satelitte programs.

My wife and I have been married 'several' decades and enjoy travel and experiencing new things. We started using VRBO to find those out of the way treasures for vacations.
Mark has recently gone back to riding motorcycles and found this wonderful area to explore and eventually purchased this property. Joan continues to enjoy decorating including this cabin. She enjoys her small group at church and has hopes to bring the 'girls' up for some area shopping and antiquing.
We have one married daughter that lives close by. Mark has been in the Logistics industry for 30 years and enjoys experiencing new challanges.
Mark purchased this cabin in 2011
THE VIEW.!! We have multiple long distance mountain views. The scenery changes by the minute. We have complete solitude with no neighbors close by. We have deer, wild turkeys and bob cats roaming the mountain. Its like camping but in a 4 star lodge.
Relaxing, star gazing, the fire pit with a glass of wine. No agenda, a complete stress reliever. We now know what 'mountain' time is plus the locals are real true generous people
Going to the lake, the Tiki bar at the Boat House restaurant
I found Behr Paw impressive. I love the mountains of NE-GA/SW-NC and the scenic landscapes and rural living this part of the country offers. Partial to this area, as I attended college nearby years ago, I found the secluded cabin cozy w/ well appointed décor and furnishings. Seeing this property as an exceptional find, I only hope it is available when I return to the area for my annual mountain retreat.
Behr Paw is a very nice home with amazin views. The furniture is very comfortable but wood stove is cozy (don't let the small size fool you....once it's going you'll be opening some windows). The layout is perfect for 4 people. In our case 2 people and 2 dogs. Is rare you find such a nice place that allows pets. Here's hoping future renters take care and respect with the property and don't ruin a good thing for the rest of us.
We were looking for a weekend getaway and found this great place. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you could need. The views are amazing and its located in a safe and secluded area, but close enough to civilization. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again for sure! Thanks for sharing Behr Paw Lodge with us!
I stayed here with my son for 4 days in April. Upon entering I was wowed! The place was nicely furnished and very clean. There was wood stocked next to the stove to make our first fire and we made one every evening. The bedrooms and bathrooms all nicely appointed. The views were very nice and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and soaking in the quiet. The area is remote and I would suggest arriving at the cabin during daylight so you can see the street signs. Overall great stay!
My wife and I enjoyed the cabin very much. It was very clean with all the amenities a family would need. The cabin was located in a gated community with only 1 other house in the area. It was just a short drive to Young Harris, Blairsville and Hiawassee. We enjoyed several local restaurants in the area and also took a beautiful 45 minute drive to Franklin, NC and had dinner at Caffe Rel. We highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy quality French food. Wildlife was everywhere. We saw deer, turkey and even a bear that wandered near the cabin. Overall a great getaway cabin for any occasion.
Beautifully furnished and decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Endless views. Remote and quite but only minutes to Hayesville and Murphy.
