From this vantage point there is the possibility of a variety of leisure activities such as climbing, walking, mountainbiking or riding along marked hiking and riding paths, up to the nearby alpine regions. (more in Google under 'Schloss Zedlitzdorf') These paths are ideal for tobogganing in winter. Cross-country ski tracks cross the valley. In summer, swimming, fishing, rafting, tennis and golf can be enjoyed. The valley ends in a large nature reserve that connects three provinces (Carinthia, Styria and Salzburg) and is perfect for nature lovers and hikers. Several tourist attractions can be reached by car within twenty minutes e.g. Bad Kleinkirchheim with its two thermal baths and ski runs. Turracher Höhe, Falkert, Sirnitz and St. Oswald are also popular ski resorts. A little further away there are lakes for swimming such as the Ossiacher See, Millstätter See, Feld am See where you can windsurf, sail or water ski.

The entrance from the corridor on the first floor leads on the right to a large kitchen cum dining room which further leads to the living room and a double bedroom. On the left of the entrance there is a hallway which leads to two further bedrooms. The apartments Priorat has 4 bedrooms (7 beds) und a livingroom with 2 sofabeds. The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. With the pullout bed in the living room, up to 9 people can sleep in the apartment.

Our family had a wonderful week here in the Priorat in July. We were lucky to have had the whole place to ourselves so our children thought they were truly kings of the castle. The property is definitely out of the way-we loved the peace and quiet! Although the weather was broken it did not stop us exploring widely in the area-there was loads to do and see-enough to warrant another trip! The property is quirky but everything we needed was there. Patricia and Reinhart made us feel very welcome.It has been the most unique property we have stayed in and we would recommend it to others!

Unsere Kinder haben den Teich genossen, die Mütter den Zugang zu allen technischen Geräten wie Waschmaschine usw., den Ausblick, die familiäre Atmosphäre und die Pilze.
Wir haben wohl in der schönsten Wohnung gewohnt, groß, schlicht und hinten raus mit Wassergeplätscher.
Danke, es war ein schöner Urlaub.

In dieser herrlichen Naturlandschaft tankten wir Energie und kamen jedes Mal erholt und ausgeruht nach Hause.

Wir waren jetzt bereits zum zweiten Mal im Kloster. Obwohl wir selber auf dem Land leben, empfinden wir die Ruhe und Entspanntheit des alten Gemäuers als sehr erholsam. Die Kinder haben auch bei schlechtem Wetter genug Platz zum Toben, Verstecken, Schnitzeljagd etc. Wir planen als nächstes mal einen Besuch im Winter...

Ich selbst verbringe schon seit vielen Jahren in diesem romantischen Mauern meinen Urlaub. Wir haben uns vor einigen Jahren als Jungfamilien zusammen geschlossen und mit unseren Kindern die schönsten Ferien erlebt, die man sich nur vorstellen kann.
Jede Familie hat ihre eigene Wohnung, Platz für die Kinder im reichen Maße sind rund um das Haus vorhanden. Bei Schlechtwetter haben meine/unsere Kinder auch genug Platz im Haus für "Kinderolympiade", "Geisterbahnspiel",
"Theaterauführungen"....
Für uns Erwachsene gibt es genussvolle Abende im Partykeller am kanadischen Kamin, im Festsaal mit musikalischen Darbietungen unserer Kinder oder bei einen der Familien im Wohnzimmer. Wir brauchen dort keinen Babysitter und geniessen dies im reichen Maße. Die Familien sind durch diese gemeinsamen Urlaube bis zum heutigen Tag aufs herzlichste verbunden.
Denn, WO findet man vier Ferienwohnungen samt Festsaal und Festkeller und Sauna und Ruhe und klösterlichen Karftplätzen denn sonst noch?
Wanderungen, Schwammerl suchen, Wassertreten im angenzenden Quellenbereich, Michstraße mit freien Auge nachts sehen und absolute Stille dazu!!!, unverstahlte Räume voller Behaglichkeit, im Umkreis einer halben Stunde Autofahrt diverse Seen, ein italienisches Essen in Tarvis, Seilbahnen, Gondeln, Sommerrodelbahnen... viele Aktivitäten, wenn ich mich schon erholt habe....
Ich wünsche mir, dass noch ganz viele Menschen diese Erholung und Kraft dort finden, so wie ich/wir.
