‘Immaculately clean, spacious and bright’ perfectly describes this lovely upper-level, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom hillside vacation rental villa at Palm Bay on the magical island of Great Exuma, Bahamas.

The roomy 1100 square foot villa that comfortably sleeps 4 people has an open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave, a living/dining area with cable TV, and a full bathroom. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a full ensuite bathroom. The covered patio is equipped with table and chairs.

There are a washer/dryer, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and cool ceramic tile flooring in the villa and it is furnished in the casual Bahamian style. Everything you will need has been thoughtfully provided so you can spend your time doing all the wonderful things you have always dreamed of doing on your tropical vacation.

Just a short walk from your door will take you to Jolly Hall beach, with pure white sand, clear blue ocean waters and gentle breezes. Pack a picnic lunch, include a favorite book to read, and don’t forget the sunscreen for hours of quiet relaxation.

Great Exuma’s capital of George Town is an easy walk or drive from your Palm Bay villa. Browse in the boutiques and the Straw Market for hand-crafted items by local artists and artisans, have a bite to eat at a café or perhaps dine in style in one of the fine restaurants in town.

We had a wonderful time in Georgetown, Exuma and out cottage at Palm Bay Heights.
The owner is very accommodating and knows ALL the locals.
We found Georgetown and Exuma Island to have that perfect balance of enough to do without being crowded. Both Hamburger Beach and Chat n Chill are not to be missed; only a short water taxi across the sound. Feeding sting rays (by hand) was a thrill. Water temperature (March 1st) was warm enough to leave the 3mm wetsuit in the cottage unlike northern Bahamian islands. A return trip can't happen soon enough!
