Attractive & comfortable 2500 sq. foot home right in the heart of Wine Country.

Annadel State Park & amazing hiking, amazing mountain biking, fishing & swimming, Spring Lake Regional Park with gentle hike/walks around an inspirational lake that has canoeing & Howarth Park an outstanding park that caters to younger children that has a train, amazing childrens play area & another lake. All 3 parks touch each other and easily access each other.
Doran Park & Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek are another unique and wonderful aspect of the magnificent Sonoma Coast. The Sonoma Coast is powerful & threatening most of the time & Doran Park provides a reasonably safe beach area for younger children with Caribbean types of waves as it is protected by Bodega Bay from the powerful surf that comes in from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma Coast State Park at Salmon Creek has a unique beach that has wonderful sand dunes for the adventurous to explore all day long.
All this is why this home is unique for a trip to wine country.
Do not underestimate the wonderful winter weather at the Sonoma Coast. This is one of those 'local' secrets that the fall, winter & spring weather at the coast is actually quite nice & more appealing than the summer weather.
If you do not want to drive anywhere, literally across the street is Upper Brush Creek Regional Park. This is a stone throw from this home and it provides 5 acres of undeveloped park with oaks & personal solitude for a invigorating walk in the morning.
There is a dog (border collie) on the property. IF you have anyone in your party that is extremely allergic to dogs my property is not what you need. The dog spends an occasional night in the home.
I like my dog. I like my friends. I like my children. I like my grandchildren. I like where I live. I like people. I like my work.
The Owner purchased this house in 2000
I always dreamed of living in Northern California because of the its incredible beauty & amazing weather.
I enjoy gardening and have a wonderful & unique greenhouse, along with raised beds that I enjoy growing my own beets, turnips, cilantro, basil etc...
I love volley ball and the yard is 3500 sq. ft. so we keep a volleyball net up all the time that can be quickly removed. On Saturday mornings @ 11 am there is an Ultimate Frisbee club that meets 2 minutes away @ the north end of Montecito Park.
This is a large, well-appointed house for a family gathering. Spacious yard, large family room with lots of seating, pool table/ping pong table too. Very well stocked kitchen and the owner has left staples like herbs and spices for your use, which is very nice. 3-4 bedrooms - one room is connected to the master bedroom with no door separating the spaces, just a wide, open doorway. There were mattresses for our use on the floor in that space which was fine for kids. Three full bathrooms each with a shower was a very nice feature. There are plenty of linens and towels, nice washer/dryer and other appliances. The caretaker lives on the premises and is there for any questions, and the owner was very responsive via emails and phone calls.
Beautiful home tucked away in a quiet corner.
Spacious inside with gorgeous backyard.
Perfect for family vacations.
Would highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and spacious house. We stayed here on the weekend of our wedding (Santa Rosa wine country). It is close in proximity to everything from the grocery stores, to wonderful downtown Santa Rosa. The house has plenty of room and is very comfortable. Both the owner and caretaker are fantastic, friendly and do everything to make sure your stay is perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family gathered here for a mini-reunion and found this home very comfortable, with everything we needed. We weren't lacking a thing in the kitchen, the home is clean and airy, and the caretaker J.R. was friendly and available if we ever needed him. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for close access to the many outdoor activities/wineries/shopping in the area. Our kids had plenty to do at the house itself, with the pool table and the volleyball court in the backyard.
A group of us stayed here for a bike ride. The house has a large kitchen, and plenty of living areas to watch a large screen TV, shoot pool, enjoy the backyard, eat in a formal dining room or just hang out - great for a large group. The house is well maintained and well stocked. Owner and caretaker were easy to work with. Overall, made for a very enjoyable weekend.
We had a wonderful family vacation at this home. It is beautiful and very spacious! The kitchen + living area + pool table section are open and allowed for great family gatherings. Most of the house is hardwood floors and it is all single story - which made it easy on my elderly relatives (wheelchair friendly). The backyard is nice - and has patio seating as well as a large field for volleyball, soccer, kid's play. There is also a friendly caretaker who you can contact if any issues with the house. He also shows you how to use the house once you arrive, so you aren't left guessing what switches / locks do what. Lastly, the house is perfect for those looking for a getaway but still wanting to enjoy the convenience of sonoma / napa - particularly the wineries. Thank you again for our wonderful stay!
