Photos and Description of the Kaprun vacation apartment rental Self-catering rental on third floor. Two single beds / pull out sofa & chair.

This is a spacious self-catering studio apartment with a curtained off sleeping area and two single beds which can be pushed together. A bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. Small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, twin electric hobs, toaster, coffee maker & kettle. It has a TV, DVD player( with some DVD's) and radio. Large 5m balcony with mountain views, seat and lift up table. NOTE- Non-Smoking apartment except on balcony. Situated on third floor with no lift so perhaps not suitable for all people. Close to town centre of KAPRUN ( 5min walk) and 3min to bus stops. Great for winter Skiing/Snowboarding. Close to beginners slope and more advanced. PLUS free winter ski bus to area slopes and 10mins the magnificent Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. There is also a Langlaufen course. (Summer skiing/Snowboarding on the Glacier) Excellent for summer walking and biking with many Kilometres of tracks. Close to the famous Zell am see with more skiing/snowboarding and tracks for walking and biking.

Nearest Airport: Salzburg at 60 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Zell am See at 10 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
Skiing/Snowboarding all year on Kitzsteinhorn Glacier 4Km from Kaprun, or if you prefer just take the cable car and see the most incredible views from the top of the mountain. Have refreshments in the cafe at the top at over 3000 metres, views you will NEVER forget. Golf, Paragliding, Walking, Cycling, Swimming, Summer Skiing, Beautiful scenery. Kaprun is easily accessed from Innsbruck airport or Salzburg airport. Self-catering Apartment just 5 minute walk to town centre. Nearby Zell am See.(10 km) Cycle/walking track to Zell and other villages. Beautiful old castle overlooking Kaprun to visit. Brand new large wellness centre being built on edge of Kaprun will be ready in 2010. Take a walk up through the amassing Gorge in Kaprun above the rapids up to the blue lake. Have a drink and something to eat when you get there at the cafe. Incredible scenery. In the winter you can ski the Maiskogel in Kaprun ( good long run ) In the summer you can walk to the top or take the lift and walk down.

Ski: In Kaprun there is a beginners slope with fantastic children facilities. For the rest of you there is the Maiskogel ski run ( good long red run ) or you can ski winter AND summer on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier (over 3000m). Many runs up there and all the facilities you need. Ski hire, board hire etc, beginners area,shop, cafes, apres ski. There is also skiing just down the road at the Areitbahn and of course the famous Zell am See with many runs. (All with free ski bus in the winter).

Other Activities: Snowboarding, Langlaufen, Canyoning.
