SECLUDED 2 BEDROOM FULLY AIR CONDITIONED WITH POOL

I have a busy lifestyle and wanted to take some time out.
I like to visit a different caribbean island each time so this was my first time in Antigua.
I travelled solo for 2 weeks and never knew anybody on the whole island.
On my arrival to Mango Villas, the first thing that struck me was how neat and tidy it was from the outside, once inside this same high standard was met, it was immaculate just like in the photos.
Debbie was responsible for this, she really does a good job and doesnt miss a spot.
Paul was very helpful, he's the one who holds the keys, he also has a dive shop on jolly beach with free WI-FI access (there is none at the villa).
Faye the neighbour is also very friendly and can offer advice of good places to go, local buses and is good just for general conversation.
I did not hire a car as I spend most of my time driving around in London and wanted a break from all that.
However, I would recommend a car for at least some of your stay if you want to really explore the whole island.
I got around pretty well on foot and by bus but I'm adventerous, young and in good health.
It is a good location, 10 minute walk to the nearest beach which is pretty much deserted with nice white sand, 5 minute bus ride to jolly harbour (shopping complex/ touristy beach), 15 minute bus ride to town.

I have no complaints whatsoever about Mango Villas, just a few suggestions.
1st Wi-Fi would be nice, 2nd a speaker system to connect ipod (i brought my own)
3rd a more modern flat screen TV.
But honestly i didnt mind not having Wi-Fi, could have survived just fine without a speaker system and the TV has plenty channels with good movies if thats your thing.

Mango Villas is excellent all round and is very good value for money!

Mango villas are beautiful and just the place to stay if you want peace and quite. Helen the owner keeps them well and is most helpful when you are booking on line. Paul who meets you at the villa when you arrive is brilliant and he often stops by to see if you are ok. The villas are clean and tidy and have everything you need. They are beautifully cleaned by June and she does a great job. The only thing we would have liked was an internet connection and the ability to play DVD's on the TV. The pool is lovely and the gardens are nice to relax in. Jolly Harbour is only 5 minutes away by car with a great supermarket selling everything you can think of and a chemist. You do need a car to explore the Island and there are so many beautiful beaches and things to do. A visit to English Harbour is recommended and you really must eat at Carmichaels and Sheer Rocks. The steak house and both italians in Jolly Harbour are also good.
We will definately be going back to Antigua and staying at Mango Villas. I've been recommending them to all my friends and work colleagues.

This bungalow is equipped with all necessities and was well maintained. The only thing we missed was an internet connection. The location is great, nice and quiet, close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua.
This property is an absolute recommendation if you choose to stay away from the big resorts and plan your own itinerary.We certainly suggest you rent a car to explore the island.
