Sun, green nature, sea, quite: all this in a unique place...Villa Grace

This fine villa is located in the northern part of Sicily. Precisely in one of the most enchanting and suggestive part of the region, where sandy beaches meet imposing cliffs which skilfully wind along the coast, as only nature could do, eventually diving into the clear waters of the Thyrrenian Sea. The building is made unique by the surrounding natural scenario, which provides an almost idyllic atmosphere. Being situated very close to the beach (only 50 m), it allows, from its balconies, a breathtaking view of the crystalline sea and of the Aeolian Islands archipelago. The house, plunged in a wide garden (about 5000 M2) amid olive and eucalyptus trees, offers large spaces in the shade where to spend pleasant moments in the utmost quietness, enjoying at the same time the surrounding suggestive scenery. From the large garden one can have direct access to the shiny sandy beach, lightly touched by the warm and clear waters of the sea. An ideal frame to this oasis of peace.

Not far, and therefore reachable with a short walk, there is the lively small town of San Giorgio of Gioiosa Marea, in the past a fishermen's village. Here you will find several bars, pizza parlours and restaurants where you can taste the typical specialities of the island. In San Giorgio there is also a great supermarket, while the banks are in Patti Marina (3 kilometres from the Villa). In this place there are wonderful sandy beaches and many places to see: we recommend trips to the Cathedral of Patti (4 Km from the Villa), to the the villa Romana with precious mosaics of Patti Marina (3.5 Km), to the ancient Greco-Romano city of Tyndaris (8 Km). Also take a nature walk around the national park of Marinello (10 Km) with its salt lakes sandy dunes and spectacular scenery, excursion can be made to Aeolian islands from Patti M.

(3 Km), to the medieval castle of Milazzo (30 Km), to Greek theatre of Taormina (100 Km), to the medieval town of Montalbano Elicona (20 Km).

Perfect resort

Spacious, beautifully furnished "double" house on the beach, perfect for two families (or a large one, in our case). The beach is never crowded even in the heart of August.
The view on the Eolian islands is a constant marvel. The trip to Vulcano can be done within a day, and it's worth it.
The owners are charming and very helpful to educate you about the area and make you feel at home in Sicily.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Outstanding vacation experience

We had the most memorable vacation at the villa. It is even better than pictured and the location is the perfect point to venture off to some of the most beautiful sites in Sicily. The owner and her family were wonderful and ensured all our needs were more than taken care of. We were 2 families, both with kids ranging in age from 4 - 20. The apartment set up was ideal to be together, yet still have some "alone" time for the children. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and many days we had a clear view of the Aeolian islands. We would definitely vaction here again and would highly reccommend the villa to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation experience.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Beautiful Villa with fabulous views

Myself and my wife, and our 2 young children and grandparents stayed at this villa for 10 days over Easter. The villa is beautiful with everything you could need and there is plenty of space inside, and for children to play outside both in the garden and on the veranda. The beach is literally at the end of the garden which is beautiful with crystal clear blue sea water. This was a great aspect for us as it was not a big ordeal to get to the beach. If the kids got tired we could easily go back to the villa for naps or for lunch. Sometimes we had lunch at the beach. The local town is just minutes walk away with supermarket and restaurants providing everything you would need. We would recommend this villa to our friends and family. Can be a little windy sometimes but thats nature. The scenery is stunning with lovely views from the balcony. Would have liked english channels on the tv and a kettle for making tea! We had a gorgeous holiday and would return again in the future. Graziella and her family are very friendly and welcoming.
Sicily is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly. Would recommend a dictionary too!!

It was a little heaven!

We spent a wonderful week. Kids enjoyed the beach and sun. so many thanks for the tomatoes, basilic and so are from your lovely garden. Eating, swimming, relaxing... it was a little heaven! Mille grazie!
