The cabin was a perfect little affordable get away. We are a family of 5 (ages 8, 5, 4) that enjoy biking, walking through the woods, swimming, collecting seashells by the shore, and short canoe trips. This place had it all.
Cabin was very clean with little things easy to find. Remember that there's no washer & dryer or towels to use. Besides that, well stocked with essentials. All beds & comforters were extremely comfortable, we used the bunk bed room as a throw-all.
Easy to find & located down a well kept road with nice cabins that are cared-for. We loved the recently re-opened Manistee Lake Inn right around the corner on the south end of the lake. Gas station/general store right around the other corner.
For two 2 families, the main kitchen/dining/living room area may be a little undersized, but for one family with 3-4 kids -perfect.

Owner's Response: Thank you Joe & Tina for your review. I appreciate all the information. I didn't know about the Manistee Lake Inn, so I'm planning on checking it out. I know the kitchen is a little small, but we have cooked up some big meals for a crowd in there, and now with the new gas grill, it will be even easier. I'm heading up next weekend; were putting in a new furnace, so think about us this winter for fun in the snow.
