Relax and enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Ontario! Enjoy the sunsets in the evening and toasty bonfires right on the lake.

Local attractions include Niagara Falls (60 minutes away), Brown's Berry Patch, Darien Lake Theme Park, Seneca Niagara Casino, The Niagara Wine Trail and Golden Hill State Park - with it's famous lighthouse.

The cottage's rural location allows you to take long bike rides and stop at local farm stands for freshly grown produce. Amish markets are plentiful for deli meats and bakery items. Restaurants and quaint shopping can be found within 20-30 miles of the cottage.

Swimmers can access Lake Ontario via a rocky beach.

Great Lake, House in need of repair

We loved the Beach front property. I have a few sons and they loved skipping rocks on the water. However the roof is caving in. Which was a little concerning. The refridgerator ran non stop and the floors are uneven. The screen on the door in missing and the furniture is out dated and tearing. I would not recommend this house for the price we paid, the camp ground 10 minutes away is a lot less money and you won't have to worry about the roof caving in on you.
Owner's Response: We have replaced the roof, a new refrigerator has been added and screen door is fixed. Alot for your money when you consider what a night at a hotel cost and what time you have to be out.

The private beach was so unique. The sunset was absolutely amazing and my children had such a wonderful time! This was definately a great vacation.

Beautiful View

My family and I had a great time at the Blue Lagoon. The neighbor is very friendly and allowed us to use her kayak. Be sure to arrive before dark or a swarm of nats will get you, but they don't bite and aren't there during the day (barely). The cottage is nice and clean, although we did have an issue with the toilet. The property manager happily refunded our last day as we had to cut our trip short one day due to repairs. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the cottage to a friend. No internet or cable kept us busy outside. Neighborhood is very quiet except for some pirates who shot off fireworks. Beware of the home-made ice cream at the farm. 3 cones cost us $16.00!
