Welcome to our relaxing holiday rental on Anna Maria Island, the Gulf Coast of Florida! It is in a building with only 4 units. You don't have to elbow your way through crowds around the heated pool, or on the rooftop terrace. There you can sit and have a glass of wine while watching the sunset. This spacious 2 bedroom condo is less than 100 yards from child friendly Holmes Beach. White sand, that won't burn your feet no matter when you walk on it, comes at no extra charge. All buildings on the island are max 3 storeys high. A free trolley runs up and down the island. Restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. Despite this you're not bothered by traffic or nightlife! Closest international airport is Tampa (1 hour by car). Anna Maria Island is a 2 hour drive from Orlando. It is a perfect place to slow down the pace after a hectic time at the capital of amusement parks. You deserve to relax!

Anna Maria island is a laid back 'Old Florida' style island with 7 miles of white, sandy beach, just 57 steps from the condo. It has 3 bridges leading to it for easy access. There's a construction code on Anna Maria island which forbids constructions that are higher than 3 levels - 2 floors of living space over a garage or carport. Therefore you never have ugly high rises blocking the view. Just a very relaxed, welcoming feel. If you want more action, there are ample possibilities for boating, jet skiing, deep water fishing etc. Busch Gardens, Tampa is 1 hour away. If culture is your interest, nearby Sarasota has an Opera House, theaters and galleries. It is even called 'the cultural capital of Florida'. And of course it wouldn't be the US of A. if you couldn't shop til you drop. Ellenton Prime Outlet Stores (one of the top 25 outlets in the US) are located half an hour away, and many more stores are closer by. You can get to Orlando and all the theme parks in 2 hours.

  • The master bathroom is reached directly from the master bedroom, and has a toilet, washbasin, shower and a window that gives it light and a welcoming feel. The second bathroom is reached from the hallway connecting the 2 bedrooms with the living room/kitchen area. In the hallway you also find the washer/dryer unit. The second bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and it also has a window which makes it bright and open.

You have ample storage space with two sets of drawers and a large built in wardrobe. A private master bathroom with shower is also a part of the experience. Glimpses of the Gulf of Mexico are included in the price. The guest bedroom has one queen and one twin bed. It also has excellent storage space. The main view from there will be palm tree leaves that gives you a relaxed tropical feel. All beds are equipped with sateen sheets in 100% cotton for a luxurious feel and good sleep.

The accommodation was great. The condo had everything we needed and was in a good location.
Having previously rented a lot of villas I can say the standard was first class.

Having only visited further down the coast of the US before we both really enjoyed the more "relaxed" feel of the island and will definitely be back.

A great stay at a great place!

The web site and pictures does not do the condo justice. The condo is much better than what we anticipated and the location is great.
We have not come across anything that we thought that should be in the condo, as it provided all what we needed.
The rental agency are great and helpful by providing us with the locale information that we had asked for.

We will be back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns dort sofort heimisch gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und sehr geräumig. In der Küche fehlt nichts! Es gab auch einige Filme auf DVD/Video und eine kleine Spielesammlung. Die Strandnähe ist wirklich herrlich! Auch das WLAN in der Wohnung war sehr hilfreich.

Wir können die Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein Condo von dem man schoene Erinnerungen hat

Tolles Condo, gut ausgestattet, hilfreiche Letting Agentur, ruhige Lage, ein zu Hause weg von zu Hause im July 2009.
Der wunderschoene, sandige Strand nur ca 30m ueber eine wenig befahrene Strasse an der das Condo liegt. Der Pool ist gut in Stand gehalten und fuer Gaeste jederzeit zu benutzen.
Wir ware Turtle watching, sahen Delphine vom Strand, viele Voegel, Schmetterlinge... Es ist nicht weit bis nach Tampa und Bush Gardens (ca 1Std)
Meine Familie hatte eine fantastische Woche in diesem Condo
Ich kann dieses Condo total empfehlen.
