A perfect castle for us to run around

We stayed for a week here in July, a family of four with two children. The castle apartment was great for us, with lovely big grounds that we could run around in, a couple of walks from the castle itself, and lots of things to do in the immediate area.

We visited Stirling, the castle and the Wallace Monument, the Falkirk Wheel, Campbell castle, and did a lovely walk in Dollar Glen.

The apartment itself was very well put together, with a great kitchen, lovely views out of the windows, and a nice cozy place to sit. The owners met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed for our week.

This is a lovely part of Scotland to base yourself in, and the castle was a great home to come back to.

Wonderful week in Dollar beg Castle

Very comfortable and attractive apartment. Dollar is a great location, convenient to Edinborough, Sterling and many other places of interest. The village itself has a lot to offer. We enjoyed our week in confort, peace and quiet. Highly recommend this property.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
