About Cynthia

WE LOVE TO SHARE THE HISTORY OF NEW ORLEANS!!!

Cynthia purchased this studio in 2012

Why Cynthia chose French Quarter

We were born & raised in New Orleans but now live by the water outside of Baton Rouge. We enjoy coming back on weekends to NOLA for the best entertainment in the world!!!

What makes this studio unique

We love the safety of the area & convenience of walking to many locations. When you walk outside the Condo there is so much to see and do you won't know what direction you want to go in. Take a right and walk almost one block and across the street you will see Port Of Call. A famous hamburger resturant which is also known for its famous drink, Monsoon.

Take a left and walk about 4 blocks and you will see Frenchmen St. Take a left on Frenchmen and as you walk down the block you will have a choice of several bar and restaurants with live entertainment. If you don't take a left on Frenchmen St. then walk another block and take a right and you will be headed to the French Market. If you don't feel like heading left or right, then walk stright down Bourbon St. and get ready for the time of your life. When headed down Bourbon, stop at 941 Bourbon St. and visit the oldest bar in the U.S. 'Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar. It was established around 1772.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a great way to end our challenging year! So much better than a hotel stay. We look forward to coming back to this condo or your other one on Decatar St. Thanks again for you hospitality & warmth!

This studio was absolutely wonderful!!! Location was perfect, blocks from Frenchman's Street, around the corner to the French Market, and a few blocks down to Lafitte's for the best Hurricane ever! Very clean and quiet, just as portrayed in the photos! Cindy was great to work with and responded very quickly to the few questions we had. Looking forward to next years visit!!! I would highly recommend this property.

Location, location

The condo was very nice and in walking distance of everything! The parking pass was wonderful for the one day we did decide to take a drive. We thought for sure a spot would not be available upon our return, but we were pleasantly surprised. We found the kitchen very useful too but could have used some dish soap, dish rag, dish towel and a pot holder. A little short on shelf space in the bathroom too. Cindy promptly and cheerfully returned the cellphone my husband left behind. We would recommend this condo based on cleanliness and location.

Clean and modern

  • 5 of 5

This condo was in a great location. We never had trouble finding a parking spot for our car, thanks to the parking pass provided. There's a whole host of awesome bars and restaurants nearby, and it's close enough to walk to the action on Bourbon. The facilities were clean and modern and comfortable, and despite being on the corner, we didn't have any problems with street noise. We found the kitchen really useful, too! I wish there'd been coffee provided for our first morning, though this was easily remedied. We'd absolutely love to stay here again.

The BEST in NOLA!!

  • 5 of 5

Cindy was fantastic! So helpful, hospitable and kind and this is literally the BEST accommodation! Perfect distance to the French Quarter and Frenchmen St. Perfect size, comfortable, tons of space, great AIR and best of all LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! I can't recommend this place enough! We were two girls in our 30's and felt very safe in the neighborhood, even walking back to the apt late at night. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Halt your search and book with Cindy right this moment! You will not regret it!

The decor of the apartment was quite exceptional with an image that reflected New Orleans. The location was also ideal being so close to the live jazz on Frenchmen Street. Of particular relevance the instructions for accessing the apartment and finding the apartment key worked perfectly. Thank you

Fantastic place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here during a weekend in New Orleans and couldn't have been happier with the place. Fantastic location with walking access to The Marigny and the Quarter. Perfect size for a couple, with all the amenities you need and none of the typical hotel/motel feel. Parking was easy with the provided parking pass. So many great places for food, music and drink well within walking distance. Definitely recommended.
