GOLDENA'S CABIN IN KANAB- GREAT VIEWS, BUILT IN 2012

We recently spent a week at Goldena's Cabin over Thanksgiving break. We wish we could give it 6 stars! Upon our arrival, we talked to the owners and they made us feel very welcome and offered assistance during our trip if needed. The pictures on the listing are very accurate, but they really can't do this little gem justice. It was perfect for our family of four and our dog. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. Right away we knew, we were going to have a good time there. The cabin is very well stocked with towels, blankets for pets and people, and plenty of kitchen items for cooking a great meal. The location of Goldena's is also very convenient; it wasn't too close to many other houses as it sits back from the street, but the views are spectacular. The local grocery stores, Honey's Jubilee and Glaziers Family Market, were only a short drive away. At each store we found no problems getting what we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner at the cabin. We really wanted to eat at the Rocking V Cafe but couldn't work it in on this trip. As far as things to do around Kanab; we went on many day trip adventures. Although we are huge fans of Zion we actually didn't even get there, deciding instead to do more things where we could take the dog. So we went to the Wire Pass trail (great hike through some slot canyons), the Toadstools, Lake Powell, a visit to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and family favorite, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Also, my husband was able to score a day permit to visit The Wave. This was truly a great trip for our family. Our four year old is still saying, "I really had a great time in Utah." We were sad to go but we have decided we will come back to Goldena's Cabin some day! Thanks to the owners for offering such an exceptional property. I would recommend this property to everyone!!!
