South Facing with contemporary Italian kitchens, beautifully bedrooms, amazing living spaces, where old rustic charm meets contemporary finishing create a truly special holiday pad.

Rustic wood walls, solid wood flooring throughout, under floor heating, contemporary Italian kitchens fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, breakfast area and dining area, TV Zone with Satellite TV & DVD, WIFI, deep leather sofas, all these features add charm, comfort and practicality to this truly welcoming space.

Skiing in Argentiere, Chamonix, Mont Blanc: Although Argentiere - Grands Montets, boast the most challenging ski area in the Alps, the surrounding area is also good for beginners and intermediates alike and the ESF French ski school is one of the best in Europe.

The village is very child friendly and children are welcome at restaurants and there is a great creche facility close to the Ski slopes called the Panda Club where they will teach your children to ski while you have some time to yourself on the upper slopes.

GETTING THERE

There are many airport transfer services running between Argentiere/Chamonix and Geneva Airport and charge approx €40 per head per trip. Car Hire is reasonable provided you book early and the Car Hire companies at the airport are Hertz, Avis and Europcar. There are several car hire companies at Geneva Airport, it is nest to use swiss side if unfamiliar. WE CAN ALSO ARRANGE A SHUTTLE BUS FOR YOU ON REQUEST.

Skiing surrounding area and Courmeyeur Italy: Nearby slopes of La Tour (Domaine de Balme) is suitable for all ages and abilities and is 5 minutes by free ski bus or by car. La Flegere (Les Praz)is also a great ski arena and has a cable car connection to Brevent which is directly above Chamonix. Again easily accessed by bus or car 10 min trip.

Courmeyeur is also available to you on your Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass - 20 drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel and the lifts are on the other side. Great for all abilities - very genly slopes and great pasta for lunch - Belissimo!

All these are on your Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass and the ski bus is free and stops across the road.

Summer in Argentiere: The summer can be as relaxing or as energetic as you would like to make it. There are great mountain walks or hikes on offer with breathtaking views to suit all abilities. Paragliding off the top of Brevent with an experienced instructor (this is one of the most amazing experienced I have ever had!, white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, glacier walking, ice climbing, rock climbing with an indoor climbing wall at Les Houches this could be your next hobby. For the gentler activities, there is riding, tennis, swimming, cycling, fishing and Golf. Luge at Plannard in Chamonix with a play area for children and above Les Houches in the trees there High Rope climbing loved by all children and adults.

You can take the Aigulle de Midi cable car and take in the views of Mont Blanc, Mer du Glace and St Gervais tramway can be enjoyed by all. There is a 18 hole golf course in Plan Praz 3 km away.

This amazing south facing alpine space provides the best in luxury accommodation AND NEW FOR 2009 and just moments away from the slopes. With amazing views of Mont Blanc and great location just a short walk to ski lift, restaurants, shops and with a bus stop opposite. The contemporary living area with italian kitchen, deep leather sofas, plasma tv and dvd, WIFI, high spec furnishings, underfloor heating providing the perfect living space. The 3 bedrooms each with a bijoux en suite, beautiful plush fabrics and textures, Italian shower and rustic features providing a great space for your relaxation. Outdoors, there is a sunny terraced area with a 6 man hot tub to help soothe away the day's adventure! From here you can capture wonderful views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding area. There is ample off road parking. The boot room has a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. Catering is optional at an extra charge from 300 pp/per week, please ask for details

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beautiful apartment for our holiday, we had a great time. Your apartment is wonderful and very well equipped. We ate in most evenings to make the most of our stay and used the hot tub at the end of each day. It was easy walking distance to the Grands Montets lift station as advised and there was a bus if feeling very lazy which we did use on 2 occasions. Thank you for all the information on lift passes, ski school and trip to Courmayeur, we had a fantastic time and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and for our return for future holidays in the Chamonix Valley.

A great place to stay a lives up to photos

This is an excellent chalet in a great resort, this place really delivers against its billing with 3 spacious rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a large lounge and dining area a really well equipped kitchen all topped off with a hot tub.
There is a drying room for boots and skis just outside front door a large TV, digital box and DVD player.
There is a bus stop within 2 minutes walk that takes you to the bottom for the cable car which is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute bus ride.
This is a great skiing resort for skiers who are intermediate and beyond and for powder hounds there is more off piste than you can ski in a week.
Steve and Jane could not have been more helpful they really want you to enjoy the experience of staying with them and the decor and furnishings go well beyond the basics and are very homely.
If there was one criticism and its a minor one the wifi was a bit inconsistent and unreliable in the evenings but I am sure Steve and Jane with rectify this so no reason to be put off.
I cannot recommend this chalet highly enough and I would not hesitate to return.

An excellent and well appointed chalet conveniently located to the Grand Montets Lift Station.
We found the chalet to be equally as good as described and for anybody that is looking for something that little bit extra special this is the place to stay. Very well appointed throughout, spacious, modern, clean and luxurious with more than adequate lunging and bedroom areas. Very well maintained and to a high specification I would have no hesitation whatsoever in reccomending this chalet. In very close proximity to the Grand Montets Lift Station and adjacent the bus stop the whole Chamonix area is accessible to all.

Argentiere is an beautiful village just 7 km from Chamonix. Famed for its amazing off piste skiing at Grands Montets glacier with awesome views of the surrounding area.

The ski arena includes Brevent in Chamonix, Flegere at Les Praz, Col de Balme at La Tour and Les Houches are suitable to all ages and the interlinking bus provides all the necessary local transport for your holiday.

Verbier and Courmayeur are just a short drive away and are included in the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass.

Argentiere has a great range of restaurants from Savoyard delights to Italian Pizza's andthe local bars within the village serve great food.

Chamonix also has a huge range of restaurants and bars. Chamonix is a thriving town with many designer shops including Channel. horse and sleigh rides, Aiguille du Midi cable car providing you with the most spectacular platform on which to view the most amazing mountain in Europe with its white snow cap all year round.

Ski: The most famous lift station in the area Les Grands Montets Ski lift station is within 400 metres of the Chalet. This ski area has some beginners blue runs and with the red runs being quite steep although they also quite wide. If learn to ski here, you will be able so ski anywhere. There is a bus stop directly opposite the chalet which takes you to Le Tour (beginners/intermediate) Flegere (beginners/intermediate) and to Chamonix where you can ski Brevent. The whole area is withing a 7 km bus ride and the buses are very reliable. There is also a train station in Argentiere which will take you to Vallorcine and you can also ski Le Tour from this station.
