Ruby and Derek welcome you to this delightfully appointed self-catering accommodation in the grounds of our beautiful home on the outskirts of Lliria, Valencia. We are set in the stunning Valencian countryside amongst the orange groves. We are close to all amenities although a car is necessary. The area has a very good road and Metro network which makes it easy to get where you want to be whether it be the coast, city or countryside - we are ideally situated for visiting the 'unspoilt' Spain. Lliria is an excellent base for some of the best fiestas in Spain, Las Fallas, La Tomatina etc (please click on the 'more details' tab for forthcoming events in 2009). We have an unfenced private pool of 10m x 5m (sorry we cannot accept children under 16) set in our lovely garden of 1500m available for clients to use freely. Use of bbq and summer kitchen. One double and one twin room, bathroom, use of summer kitchen/bbq/paellero. Smoking is not permitted in rooms.

The Valencia region has so much to offer. It is home to the amazing Las Fallas fiesta which is held annually between 12th-19th March. The World renowned La Tomatina is also held in nearby Bunol, great fun for those who don't mind getting covered in tomatoes. The Moto GP is held in neighbouring Cheste which is only a 35 minute drive away. The Americas Cup has been held in Valencia which now has it own F1 racing circuit too. You don't even have to drive far for a theme park or water park if that's what takes your fancy. We are surrounded by natural parks with beautiful rivers and waterfalls, one of which is Albufera, a natural inland lake. You won't be short of somewhere to shop either with Valencia City being only half an hours drive away and plenty of other shopping centres in the area. Europes 1st Bioparc Zoo is also in Valencia and the Arts and Sciences area with its Oceanographic centre is a must see. Beaches are only about 35 minutes drive. You won't be lost for something to do.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Linen changed weekly and towel changed twice weekly. Washing services provided at an extra cost. A welcome pack will be provided for bookings of 5 nights or more.
  • To secure your booking we require a 50%, non-refundable, deposit by bank transfer to be paid within 1 month of your booking or 3 weeks before your arrival, whichever comes soonest, with the balance being payable, in local currency (euros), upon arrival.
    On Arrival:
    The balance for your stay is payable when you collect your keys. You will be greeted by your hosts and shown to your room where you can unload your luggage. Once unloaded you will be invited to join us for a drink while you relax and collect your keys.

  • This is a beautiful and spacious bathroom comprising toilet, basin and shower enclosure. Towels are provided and changed twice weekly. There is a hair dryer for guests to use.

  • 1 twin and 1 double room, each with its own access. Linen and towels are provided. Linen changed weekly and towels changed twice weekly. The bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms with each room having independent access to it. There is hairdryer for guests to use. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have wardrobes, bedside cabinets. Tea and coffee will be provided for the duration of your stay. A washing service is also provided at an extra cost. You will have your own keys and are free to come and go as you please during your stay with us. A summer kitchen is available for your use as is the BBQ. A welcome pack will be provided for bookings of 5 nights or more. Although we are unable to accept children due to the pool not being fenced off, we do accept young people of 16 and over providing they have an adult with them.

Notes: Although we do not permit smoking in the bedrooms, we are happy for you to smoke outdoors in the ample garden where ashtrays will be provided should you require them. There is ample seating around the garden with tables and chairs outdoor dining. By the pool there are sun loungers with covers which are also at your disposal.

Lliria Fiestas: Lliria has 6 continuous weeks of Fiestas which start during the last week of August through to the end of September. Some of the most notable fiestas are the Merangue and Foam fight, The Moor & Christians parade, a 2 week long fun fair, street carnivals, marching bands, open-air shows and firework displays to name but a few of the main events - all of this with the exception of the fun fair are provided free of charge

Cheste MotoGP 2009: The MotoGP is held annually at the Ricardo Torno racing circuit in Cheste which is a 35 minute drive. The World Championship returns to the Valencia circuit again for the 2009 season with tentative dates of 6th, 7th and 8th November.
