This spacious light and airy 2 storey townhouse is in the walled South Marina complex with its buildings in vibrant eastern colours. This complex is approached via a single, guarded entrance. Close to beaches, beautiful Abu Tig Marina and Downtown.

Fully air conditioned with 3 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The marble floors and staircases throughout give a welcome coolness from the heat of the day. Open plan fully fitted kitchen with eating and lounge area, french doors opening to a terrace with table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining, leading you into the landscaped gardens/pool area.

On the ground floor there is double bedroom with twin beds, bathroom. Upstairs further 2 double bedrooms, one with vaulted ceiling and 4 poster bed. Bathroom. Also a second terrace with table and comfortable seating.

Home description: South Marina is a quiet walled complex, with buildings in vibrant eastern colours, and is approached via a single, guarded entrance. The block, together with the garden/pool are fenced inn and very private.

Home away from home!

We have visited Gouna last winter holidays and it was an amazing experience!
The house is amazingly furnished, very classy! And it's very well equipped.
the location of the house is just perfect, just a 5-minute walk away from the Marina, which the centre of El Gouna.

We will definitely visit Gouna again, and definitely stay in the same house! :)

EXCELLENT accommodation - centrally located between the Marina & Downtown. Absolutely spotless inside and out.
High quality fittings - nice pool - very quiet and respectful neighbour's. Best fortnights sleep I've had in years! and the local Contact Jonah was such a nice guy and totally geniune.

Perfekt in Lage, Ausstattung und Preis

Das Objekt liegt im South Marina Compound, genau in der Mitte zwischen Downtown und Abu Tig Marina. Beides ist bequem in einem 10 minütigen Spaziergang zu erreichen.

Die Wohnung ist freundlich, hell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sie ist in allem gut durchdacht ausgestattet und gepflegt.

Die Schlafzimmer haben eine gute Größe; die Betten sind bequem, aber nicht zu weich; ausreichend Staufläche in Schrank und Schubladen ist vorhanden.
Auch die Bäder bieten ausreichend Stellfläche.
Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen und Zweckmäßigen gut ausgestattet und hat eine große Arbeitsfläche.
Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist gemütlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt: am Esstisch fehlen ein 5. und 6. Stuhl. Mit den Stühlen der unteren Terrasse kann man sich jedoch ausreichend behelfen.
Gartenanlage und Pool sind gut gepflegt. Es gibt für jeden eine Liege, allerdings nur wenig Schatten.

Für uns als Familie mit 3 Teenagern bot die Wohnung ausreichend Platz - auch um sich mal zurück zu ziehen. Das betreuende Ehepaar Ian und Pam hat uns herzlich empfangen, war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sich während unseres Aufenthaltes gut um uns gekümmert (Hilfe bei nicht in HRG angekommenem Gepäck, Zwischenreinigung, Rückreisetransfer).

Alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert!

The unit has a lovely upstairs terrace with plenty of seating and a nice view of the grounds. Walking distance to the marina was an easy 10 to 15 minutes. The subdivision, South Marina, is very well maintained. The kitchen has a dishwasher which was very helpful. The furniture and beds were comfortable. There were lots of towels. The pristine shared swimming pool afforded plenty of opportunity for relaxing on chaise lounges. The only thing we wished for was a barbeque grill. The owner provided excellent customer service with suggestions for restaurants and activities. We highly recommend visiting Gouna and would stay in this unit again.

Great rental property

Had good communication with the owner, airport transfers went very well and the handover was very helpful.
Couldnt fault the villa and everything was well looked after, my parents who travelled with us, felt very safe in the resort and loved the area and local people.

Thoroughly recommend this for a holiday which suits all ages, although I would not think it suited small children due to the hot temperatures, especially from Mid June to September.

Will defianately book again.

Traumurlaub!

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen! Vor allem der Balkon im 1. OG ist klasse! Die Kinder sind im Bett und man kann gemütlich ein Glas Wein trinken ...

Das Haus ist perfekt zwischen den beiden Hauptzentren mit Restaurants, Einkaufsmölgichkeiten und natürlich dem wunderschönen Stränden gelegen und alles ist zu Fuß oder mit den günstigen Taxis (EUR 1,--/Auto/Strecke) erreichbar.
Im oberen Stock sind zwei Schlafzimmer, unten ein separates Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Besonders mit kleinen Kindern ist es schön, etwas mehr Platz zu haben in einem Hotelzimmer und diese toben lassen zu können. Bei Bedarf sind Treppenschutzgitter und Babybett erhältlich.

El Gouna ist perfekt für Kinder - Traumstrände und super-nette kinderfreundliche Menschen!


Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder nach El Gouna.

Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Da die Vermieterin Bezahlung in Pfund wünscht, kommen noch Bankgebühren in Höhe von ca. EUR 40,-- pro Überweisung hinzu.

El Gouna is sometimes described in the travel guides as the Venice of Egypt because the villas, townhouses and apartments are situated around lagoons and meandering canals, which form a serious of small islands interlinked by bridges. It offers one of the widest ranges of leisure possibilities in the Red Sea, making it a perfect destination for a holiday.

Numerous restaurants in Abu Tig Marina and Downtown, ranging from 5* Hotels to Italian pizzerias. Eating out costs less than half of the equivalent in the UK! Great choice of bars, or you can dance the night away at the Mangroovy beach party.

Some excellent Hotels are situated close by, inc Steinberger which has a 18 hole US PGA championship golf course, or Movenpick with its superb spa.

Apart from the world-class diving,water sports and fabulous beaches, you could go on some excellent excursions - a desert safari at sunset, visit Luxor and The Valley of Kings, Cairo to see the Pyramids of Giza or take a cruise down the River nile
