House, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

The story is this 1899 home was built for the management of the active Gold Mines in the area. It is a two story house with the main floor renovated for the use of our guests. We have one bedroom with a queen bed, a very nice comfy queen sofa sleeper in the living room, one full bath, and a new kitchen with everything you need. Outdoor BBQ gas grill. Perfect location and easy to find right on HWY 16/385 between Hill City and Keystone. Go right next door to the famous Dakota Stone Rock Shop, with gem panning, mine advanture, and gift shop. Hill City's newest winery is also right next door, with two other winery's within two blocks. And just five minutes to the world famous Alpine Inn Restaurant. Also you can access the ATV trail system from here and go north on miles of trails. We have lots of parking for campers, trailers, boats, so bring your toys. Good for one or two couples, or a small family.

Lovely rental just outside Hill City. Comfortable, CLEAN and convenient to Black Hills, Bad Lands and surrounding area. It is on Hwy 16, but close the door and leave the world behind. Perfect for a couple looking to relax after a long day sighseeing, hiking, traveling. Thank you.

Owner was most accommodating - handled all our requests immediately. She even had fresh flowers waiting for us. Home is so comfy & decorated to fit the area. The location is excellent for all traveling in the area. Was a fun place, with nice people. I would certainly recommend this for other travelers or if we visit the area again. Felt like we were leaving old friends when we left.

We were extremely satisfied with the Hidden Treasure. It was very clean, and the pictures are very true to what it was like. The owners own a stone/rock business right next door, and our 2 young children had a blast "panning" for treasure at their shop. our kids also enjoyed the chickens wandering around onsite. Marilyn was very responsive to our questions and requests. I agree with the other reviewer, it is located on a very busy highway but for our needs, it was just fine.

We stayed 5 nights in this charming house. It has an older home feel, yet is updated (new kitchen, new TV) and is very well stocked with kitchen & bathroom supplies.
The home iis on a busy road, but we also did not notice the noise with front door closed. It is centrally located for an easy drive to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hot Springs and other sites.
My kids, ages 7 & 10, LOVED the rock shop next door and watching the chickens & goats out back each morning.

Wonderful treasure and very affordable

We had the entire main floor and never heard the owners above us. Everything is very up-to-date and we had full use of a large capacity washer and dryer in the enormous bathroom the entire time. Town is a mile or so away and we had easy access to Mount Rushmore too. We had two 16 year old boys who are both around 6 foot. They slept VERY comfortably on the queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also a window AC unit that we used in the bedroom. Only negative is the house is on a main highway but when the front door was closed, there was no traffic noise. If you live animals, Bear Country USA is a MUST SEE.
