Playa Bastian is a front-line residential site ideal for families, with 3 swimming pools, and a sandy beach only 200 metres away with no roads to cross. There are restaurants, bars, banks and shops nearby. Costa Teguise with more restaurants, shops and beaches is a 10/15 minute walk away along a wide promenade. There is a regular bus service catering to all areas of the island. There is an efficient and inexpensive taxi service on the island. The airport is only 20 minutes away. The apartment has a large balcony with stunning sea views there is also a terrace to the front of the property. Playa Bastian is a much sought after clean and friendly complex with all the amenities for a fantastic holiday

My wife and I and our youngest son stayed in the apartment mid March 2009 which is outside the summer season and so was very quiet. It's only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport (Lanzarote has an excellent taxi service) but is also on the bus route. The apartment was very clean and tidy with excellent sea views and there was an unexpected welcome pack of wine/beers/soft drinks waiting for us - much appreciated. The freshwater pool, just over a metre deep from end to end so not too hazardous for parents worrying about children, was superbly clean (if a little chilly in March) and the complex area was meticulously swept each day. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket across the road so a car is not necessary.
