Love this Place!
We love this little house! What a perfect spot. Spent the 4th of July week here – 3 couples – had an amazing week!
The location is perfect – bay front, on a quiet street, with easy access to everything you need in Greenport and an easy bike ride to the oyster ponds and Orient. The house is great – the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s simple and clean and comfortable with 3 real bedrooms, 2 half baths attached to two bedrooms and one full bathroom (the outdoor shower is so nice, we never even used the inside one.) The kitchen is rustic, but has a great stove and counter space. We cooked for 11 people one night and it was great. In the area, recommend heading down to orient state park for a bike ride, checking out the historic village of orient, the brewery in Greenport, and some of the wineries (we liked One Woman), and shopping at the local farm stands.
Left the best part for last – the back yard! There is a huge deck and a large sand area and then a few steps down to the water. We were out there day and night. It couldn’t be nicer! Grab a growler at the brewery; pull up one of the Adirondack chairs; watch the swans that swim by every night. You will fully enjoy your time at this house.
