Athens Vacation Rental : Athens

I stayed at this property for one week in April 2009. I was delighted with the accommodation - it was just as described on the website. It is located in a residential area (as opposed to a tourist one) and there are shops within a three minute walk. It has easy access to two Metro stations, the Tram and buses, so very convenient for getting about.

The area is quiet and there is very little noise from other apartments. I so loved the huge balcony - it was very pleasant to eat outside and I spent many hours just watching the world go by.

The property was clean and in good condition. The kitchen area is small but adequate and there were some basic provisions there when I stayed ... washing up liquid, coffee, etc. The living room is comfortable - it has two sofa beds, tv and dvd player with a large selection of dvds.

The beds are comfortable and bedrooms spacious. The apartment would be more than comfortable for four people and although it sleeps eight - I personally think it would be a tight squeeze - although fine if just using the apartment as a place to sleep.

The bonus was having a PC and internet to use, provided by the owner.

My negotiations with the owner were prompt and courteous. He was very helpful upon my arrival and provided me with extra towels when I asked for them.

I would definitely stay at this property again and only hope that it is available when I next visit Athens!
