Private Ocean Front on Honl Beach, King Bed, Flat Screen Tvs

My wife and I just spent a week in Paulette and Marty's condo. It is the best condo we have rented yet. It is in great condition, very well stocked, and in a great location. Paulette and Marty go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. From a very well stocked kitchen to the 'treasure chest' of beach stuff. They have several beach chairs, boogie boards, swim fins, masks and snorkels and even a bunch of beach toys for the little ones. If all you want to do is shop and eat in Kona, this is close enough to walk all the time, but you will probably want a rental car to see all of the other sights on the island. We left ours parked whenever we went into the shopping area of Kona. It is a 10 minute walk to the first stores and restaurants.

The location of this property is excellent! Close to the cute little town of Kona and in fact within walking distance. The downtown market which sells fresh pineapple, papaya, mango, etc will be missed! We shopped at least 2-3 days a week. We walked to Don the Beachcomer located in the Royal Kona for seaside happy hour drinks and food. We walked to Huggos's for dinner and drinks and enjoyed their entertainment. We walked to the Royal Kona Luau and truly enjoyed our time there. The condo is just in a perfect location!

The condo has been well maintained and is confortable. The kitchen is supplied with most everything needed to cook meals. The tile floors and painted walls are in good shape and the appliances are fairly new, clean and updated. The bath has also been updated and the shower a treat!

The lanai is supplied with a table and 4 confortable chairs, two of which we brought inside for more seating as there were four of us. The dock box outside has great canvas chairs and sand chairs. The pool is just a short walk from the condo and beach towels are provided by the office. The BBQ at the pool is cleaned daily and a joy to use. The view of the sand beach from the sliding doors and the sound of the ocean is paradise every morning and evening! There are young people who sleep on the beach most every night but we never had a problem with any of them, in fact purchased a bowl made from coconut palm made from a nice young man. :-) The only problem we had was from the lady who lives in B3 who took a guest of ours to task for smoking on the grass outside our unit.

This condo unit was perfect for myself, my husband and our teenaged son. It is located about a mile from the King Kamehameha Hotel, so many restaurants and shops, as well as the Farmers' Market, are within walking distance. A beach park was literally outside the sliding glass doors, and we could enjoy the waves and the palm trees from the patio. Unlike other beachfront places I have stayed in, the sound of the waves was not too loud. In fact, the unit was very quiet at night. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to meet Marty and Paulette, but they made us feel very welcome with lovely flowers, fresh fruit, and information. They even remembered we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I definitely recommend staying here.
