6.500 m² private estate, large (heated) pool & tennis court, barbecue area

This stunning villa is located on a beautiful, private estate just a few metres from the sea. The villa has 5 large bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom and private terrace all with magnificent views across the large, private gardens to the sea. The spacious sitting room has a comfortable sitting area with open fire place, a bar, spacious dining area and a TV/DVD corner (satellite reception). The typical Portuguese kitchen is fully equipped to a very high standard. Adjacent to the kitchen is a delightful terrace with barbecue area.

Set among the beautifully landscaped gardens is the magnificent, unusually shaped swimming pool (heated on request). The pool has a shallow area making it ideal for children as well as adults. There is a tennis court located at a lower level, a petanque pitch and mature trees shade a children's play area with play equipment and sandpit. There is a cleaning service and both bedlinen and towels are provided.

Sesmarias is situated +/- 5 km West of Albufeira.The Algarve is known for its fantastic golf courses. The coastline offers a fantastic scenery.

Close to Quinta Maria you can find lovely restaurants of all kind (also on the beaches), shops and supermarkets.

Just a few km' s from Sesmarias you can find the town of Guia, home to Cliff Richard. The Algarve Shopping Centre (with multiplex Cinemas) is situated in Guia as well as the Zoomarine, a lovely Marine park where you can swim with Dolphins. Both deserve a visit!

On your way to Albufeira you will pass the 'Marina'. This modern harbour has a lovely boulevard, where you can enjoy the yachts, have a refreshing drink or a lovely meal in one of the restaurants.

The old town of Albufeira is very interesting with narrow cobbled streets and old fisherman houses. There are the numerous music bars and street entertainers.

Nearest beaches: Sao Rafael and Coehlla (200m) and a semi-private beach at 40 metres.

Other Activities: Shopping centre with cinema, waterslide parks, swimming with dolphins. Petanque & ping pong in villa

Wonderful villa in a great location away from the noisier districts.

Well maintained and cleverly laid out with a well maintained pool area and tennis court.

Having spent 2 weeks here we immediately re booked for three weeks in 2013.

We (two Dutch families with 4 little kids) spent a week in Quinta Maria beginning Septemer 2012. It was a perfect week; besides the very nice climate, the villa invites all guests to have a very relaxed, enjoyable (and if you want sportive) holiday at the Algarve. The children loved the kids-area of the (if requested fenced)pool and the nearby beaches; in the evening we had lots of very nice BBQ's nearby the pool-area.

Without any doubt everybody will love to stay at this spacious villa.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, several families/large family.

Magnificent villa in private area, and 40 mtrs from the beach!! Wonderful garden and excellent service of 2 very kind people, who made our stay unforgettable. The unusally shaped pool is surprisingly large and safe for smaller children, and a challenge for sporty swimmers. Service was great and the villa is one of the top villa's we ever stayed in.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
