Immediate vicinity: Across the street from the Tower of London & next to the beautiful Trinity Square Gardens, a 1 min walk from the Tower Hill tube stop, you'll find this flat the ideal base from which to explore London! Many pubs & restaurants are within a 1-2 min walk. Many points of historic interest are within 2 min, including the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, & the ruins of the wall of the Roman city of “Londinium”. Just across the street, in addition to the Tower of London, is All Hallows by the Tower, a 1,500 year old church that has import for US as well as British history – William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania, was baptized in the church as an infant, & John Quincy Adams, America’s 6th President & son of John Adams, America’s 2nd President, married there in 1797. Due to the flat's proximity to the underground station, you can quickly be near any major attraction in central London: Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Rooms, Whitehall, Parliament, Big Ben, Kensington Palace,Hyde Park, etc.

Area within 5-15 minutes walk of the flat.: Also nearby (meaning a 15 min walk or less) is St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, St Katherine's Dock, Marina Shad Thames (riverwalk area with more restaurants & pubs), London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral, the Borough Market, Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hinde, the HMS Belfast, & Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a pleasant walk across either London or Millenium Bridge near Vinopolis, a wine museum with a lovely restaurant with wine tasting. (The theatre & restaurant are ideal for a unique dinner & show experience as part of a memorable & romantic evening.) If you walk east about 10-15 min, you'll find yourself in London's East End, & perhaps at Brick Lane which is famous for its excellent Indian food! I highly recommend the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour of the East End, held at night 3-4 times per week and starting from the Tower Hill tube station, 1 min from the flat. St Kathryn's Docks Marina is 5-6 min east & has many shops, cafes & restaurants.

Inside the flat: This flat is equipped with a microwave, oven and stove/hob, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, clothing washer & dryer, plasma TV & DVD player, DVD library (40-50 movies), CD/tape player/radio, CD music library (eclectic mix from classical to country music to classic rock to Glenn Miller to opera to jazz to R&B), small book library (about 40 books), & wireless DSL. (However, I need to say that the 5 person maximum really means 2 parents & 3 children. At 500 square feet, the flat is just too small for 5 adults.

We throughly enjoyed staying at Paul's place. First of all, dealing with Paul is like you have known him all your life. A straight up, honest guy and very easy to deal with. His attention to detail on sight seeing and restaurants was excellent. Second, his place was great and exactly how he described it. It was my family's first real big trip outside of the USA and it could not have been better. We loved it. The location is amazing. There is so much to see right out of the Flat's door. The tube station is a 2 minute walk away and will hook you up to anywhere you want to go in England, if not Europe. As I look through this website, I am tempted to book the flat again for next June. Thank you very much Paul for the awesome memories.

Perfect!

The flat was amazing! My wife and I honeymooned in London recently and stayed at Trinity Square, and it was wonderful. The flat is in a great location, just across the street from the Tower and a metro stop that serves two very convenient lines for checking out the city. There is also an awesome rooftop view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

The flat itself was also beautiful, and fully equipped so that it was easy enough to do meals at home at our convenience. The furnishings were very nice, and the alcove/lofted bed is fun!

I highly recommended the Trinity Square flat to anybody looking into a trip to the city, it was great!

My wife and I just rented from Paul. Very honest and great guy. Don't be concerned about the "Wire Transfers" for deposit and payments. The keys will me mailed and there will be a flat there when you arrive!! Great location at Tower Hill / Financial District. Subway or Underground is just around the corner for travel to all attractions. Best way to travel the city in our opinion. Everything is really within walking distance too if your up for the walk down the Thames or across Tower Bridge. Taxi can be hailed right outside the doors for those of us that are lazy; meaning me. As for the flat / apartment, it really feels like home away from home. It is really clean, neat, and all the appliances work. A big plus + for us was the level of quiet in the building. You cannot hear the neighbors and being on the top floor was great. You can't put a price on that. The free calls back home with the free internet WIFI was also a major convenience for us. Big Big Bonus!!! There are plenty of guides, maps, books, and information about the city that is also very helpful in the apartment. Great view of the city and Tower Bridge from the easy and accessable roof. There is a great pizza place down the street and quite a few pubs or restaurants close to the flat. Most important FYI on the food scene is: CHECK CLOSING TIMES!! Grocery is also very close if you prefer to cook as we did. If you are coming into Pauls' Apartment / Flat through any London airport then taking a TAXI is best and most convenient. Around 60-80 pounds or $100-$120US. Taking a lot of luggage through the Underground / Subway does not look like a lot of fun. If your on the cheap or have little luggage, then Underground / Subway is your cup of tea. Good luck...

Lastly, but most importantly, we want to thank you Paul for the great service and stay at your place. London is a great city and one of our favorites traveled. Thanks for the hospitality, memories, and we look forward to another stay at your place when we come back. I'll recommend your place to all our friends and family if they are coming to London for a visit. For all of your future guests, you'll be pleased and happy with your decision to stay at Pauls.

Thanks again,

Jon & Shelley B
