I am older than I feel comfortable with. I currently live near Heathrow but was brought up in the Forest and left there aged 18. For the last 40-odd years we have visited the Forest every 3 weeks visiting friends and family.
We bought the cottage because we loved its location. There are lovely woodland views from the lounge. We can also walk straight into the forest from the cottage.
We find it so relaxing here. Hope you do too!
We loved its location. We first visited it in May 2008 when the forest is at its best. The cottage is very rusty and has high ceilings which we love as the cottage feels bigger than it is. We love the character of the cottage.
We wanted to buy a cottage with a forest view and this one ticked all our boxes.
