Vila Golfemar is a small private development, overlooking Vale do Milho's beautifully landscaped par 3 golf course, where the stylish linked villas are set in immaculate grounds with an attractive pool complex. The villa is newly furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard, with air conditioning, satellite TV, and a sound system to every room. The top level has a kitchen/utility area, cloakroom, open plan dining/living room, with doors to a large corner terrace with spectacular views of the sea and golf course. A sweeping, circular staircase leads to the lower level, with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite) and a small private garden with sun loungers. The property is within 5/15 minutes drive of several glorious beaches, Golf & Tennis Clubs, Water Parks & Zoomarine.

The villa is on Vale de Milho golf course, which is 5 minutes drive to the charming fishing village of Carvoeiro, with its cliff-sided beach, quaint shops, bars / live music, and wide selection of restaurants. It is 600 metres from Rocha Brava (tennis / restaurants), and 800 metres from the nearest beach (Centianes). The property is within 5-15 mins drive of some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in the Algarve, including Caneiros, Algar Seco, Praia Grande and Marinha beach, the famous 'Algarve Postcard'! Also within a leisurely 10-20 mins drive are 18-hole golf courses (Gramacho and Pinta), Water Parks (Slide and Splash, and Aqualand), the Algarve shopping centre at Guia, Crazy World (mini-golf / zoo) and the Zoomarine Sea Life centre with rides and live shows. There are boat trips taking in the caves and the spectacular coastline, or you can drive to the castle at Silves, the mountains of Monchique, or head for the West Coast with its Atlantic rollers. Something for everyone.

The property will sleep 6 adults and 1 infant (under 2) comfortably. In addition the sofa bed could accommodate a 7th adult. There is a safe in Bedroom 2 for securing valuables.

Notes: Dining room table seats six however there are plenty of additional chairs, and the terrace table seats 6+ so tables can be moved to accommodate larger parties. The accommodation is on 2 levels & consists of separate kitchen, sitting room/diner & cloakroom on one level with stairs leading down to the 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The living area opens onto a large terrace. 2 of the bedrooms open onto a small terrace and garden area with sun beds, & the third has its own separate entrance. The upper terrace is furnished with dining table and chairs. Furnishings & equipment throughout are of a high standard and all necessary cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. There is Satellite TV (Freeview channels including BBC/ITV/C4/Sky News). There is a Central Sound Music system which provides sound to every room, including shower & bathroom! Wood burning fire in the lounge for those romantic winter evenings! Please note, no beach towels are provided and smoking is encouraged outside.

Golf Information: Vale do Milho is a 9 hole, par 3 course designed by Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas. The course provides a real challenge throughout it's 926 metres for all standards of players. Facilities include a lounge bar, restaurant, well stocked shop, snooker room and golf school. Pestana & Gramacho 18 hole courses are a 10 minute drive away. Please ask if you want to borrow golf clubs - two sets are available, with wood / putter and 11 and 8 irons respectively, for £15 each per week.

Tennis Information: Carvoeiro has two welcoming Tennis Clubs. Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis is set around a swimming pool, with 12 courts offering a variety of hard / clay court surfaces, and a practice wall. There are regular club sessions where you can mix in with members and others on holiday. There is a fully equipped gym, hairdressing salon, well being / massage treatments, aerobics studio, table tennis, table football, and a snack bar which sells great coffee! The other club, at Rocha Brava, has 4 courts and is just a 10 minute walk from the villa, and has club sessions for all-comers on most afternoons. Group or individual coaching can be arranged at either club.

Our family (parents and 3 teenagers) spent two weeks holiday in Carvoeiro last June. We were very pleased to choose this villa among of all possilbe alternatives. The description on the website is accurate regarding everything. The villa is decorated with a good taste and you can find there all the equipment you would need. You really can feel yourself at home there.

The area surrounding the property is well-maintained. Especially the pool area was one of the favourite places for us to visit after a hot day. You can enjoy peace and quiet in Carvoeiro if you like or decide to get to know many marvellous and interesting villages along the southern coast not to mention the beautiful beaches.

It is easy to find good restaurants with delicious menus near the villa. Also the golf course nearby is perfect for beginners like our sons who just started their golf career last spring.

Because our family has 5 members it would have been more comfortable if there had been another key to share to the villa instead of one.

We certainly would recommend this property to our friends and relatives and hope to be back there some day.

We stayed in the lovely villa in July, the villa met to our expectations, was clean en well maintained. We had the villa cleaned every week and the manager Juliet did a great job, she is very friendly and helpfull, she made our stay very relaxed . The communal pool was ok and most of the time we were the only visitors. The beaches nearby are beautifull but small. Only the balcony was not as spacious as we expected, but furthermore every thing was just great.

We were delighted to find the villa lived up to its description and our expectations. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Lovely view from the terrace where we enjoyed the evening sunshine over a glass or two of wine! The property is well situated for visiting the Algarve's many beautiful beaches. The pool is shared with other villas on the complex, but for the most part we had sole use which was wonderful. Brilliant weather all week.

The owner was very helpful from the outset. We would be happy to stay in the villa in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending it to a friend.

Great Vacation in Vila Golfemar

We've spend 3 great weeks in Vila Golfemar and were fully satisfied with the accommodation and the surroundings. The Vila is fully equipped with everything you need and everything from furniture to the towels is good quality stuff. Upon our arrival everything was ready for take over and the local service mgmt. provided us with all needed information to get settled. We were in contact before and asked for basic items for the fridge which has been provided without problems. We spend our evenings on the terrace which has a beautiful sea view over the roofs of the residence. The swimming pool was the favourite place for our kids and was always in good shape. Sunbeds and parasol are provided by the owner and directly stored in a small room beside the pool area. The whole residential area is in very good condition and constantly maintained by gardeners and cleaning personal (only the roads to the area are quite bumpy). Thanks to Sue & Henri for keeping their promises in the Internet - we can highly recommend to go there.
