We are Mammoth locals of over 20 years. Stephanie is a teacher and Caleb is a computer consultant.
Our 2 bedroom condo was our home for over 15 years, and has been nicely updated. Both units are comfy with a homelike, mountain cabin feeling.
Your place was very comfortable and our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. A little snow on the peaks and brisk mornings made the trip. We had no problems, we signed the Guest Log and I wouldn't do a thing to improve your place. Thanks again for everything.
Excellent location, perfectly layed out, Great place felt right at home. Would highly reccomend.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend with our pups at this condo. It is an upstairs downstairs unit with the bedrooms downstairs. All our snow gear got to stay downstairs so relaxing by the fire at night and watching a movie upstairs was like being in your own living room. The kitchen had everything you need for a nice dinner in-- including a BBQ on the patio. The neighborhood is dog friendly with a great hiking trail close by and a bike/walker's path to the village as well. The owners are attentive and easy to reach if needed. My only wish would have been for a jacuzzi after a long day of snowboarding. But, the bathtub sufficed. Thank you! We'll be back!!
What a perfect place to stay!! Close to trails, slopes and all of the action. The condo was well equiped with everything that you need and very cozy! Plus it was dog friendly!
I was extremely disappointed with our stay. Beware the rental offers two condos. The condo that we apparently rented was the 2nd condo. We saw the pictures included and thought the place looked great, but we were extremely disappointed when we arrived. The kitchen was horrendous. The cabinets were rotting, and the counters were dirty. We did not feel comfortable eating there. We saw several cobwebs and the carpets were stained. When we called the owners, they said they would send the maintenance crew over it clean the place. Which they did, but it still felt dirty. Beware if you rent the other condo, there is a reason there is no pictures of the kitchen. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
This condo was in the perfect location for our family reunion. The owners were helpful and quick to respond when we had difficulty gaining access. The kitchen was well equipped and the linens were up-scale. It could use a few more "working" light bulbs and the carpet is ready for a good cleaning. The sleeper sofa was difficult to put away since the frame had been bent. These are observations and not really complaints. We would gladly stay there again as they are extremely dog friendly and that's a welcome and unusual thing in Mammoth condos. There were dog toys and a dog bed...how often do you see that in a rental condo? Thanks to you both for a nice place to stay for our family reunion!
The whole experience from booking the cabin to checking out was absolutely flawless. I was put in charge of coordinating a last minute family trip together up to Mammoth. Part of my family were staying up in Mammoth Mountain Inn, but I needed a place for 8, so decided to see if I can rent a cabin nearby. I came across this listing and contacted the owner who was very responsive and easy to work with from start to finish. He sent very clear and concise instructions on how to check in and check out.
The cabin itself was spacious and had so many personal touches to the inside that it made you feel at home right away. It was clean and well-maintained with enough towels and sheets. The location is also very convenient. It is only a couple miles away from the grocery store, downtown and about 5 miles away from the ski lifts. One thing I wish we found out sooner is that it is about 1 mile away from Mammoth Mountain Brewery. So awesome!
In short, I don't think my family and I could have had a better experience or stayed in a better place. It turned out to be a very special and perfect family vacation which wouldn't have happened if I didn't come across this condo! Thank you!
