Casa Flintoft is a privately owned villa situated in the prestigious development of Monte Pego. The villa is ideal for all year round rental as it provides a quiet, private retreat for that holiday break whether it be with the family, a romantic break away or to improve your golfing skills on the many local courses. The villa is situated in an elevated position on a quiet cul-de sac and has magnificent unobstructed views of the nearby surrounding mountain range, nature reserve and Mediterranean coastline. The villa is fully furnished to a high standard with all modern facilities provided.The private kidney shaped pool with its roman steps leading into the clear blue water is located off the large terraced area to the rear of the property. This provides an ideal location for sunbathing, al-fresco dining or just relaxing and enjoying the views and evening sunsets..

Casa Flintoft is situated on the Monte Pego urbanisation and offers good access to the local coastline, beaches, historic town of Denia as well as the many golf courses and sporting facilities.It also provides an ideal base for exploring the local area as it iis situated about an hours drive from both Valencia and Alicante. The town of Denia was a popular escape for the Spanish pirates.The castle overlooks the lively fishing port and town which provides a reminder of times past. Denia provides a mix of both the traditional and modern ways of Spanish life with its numerous restaurants,cafe/ bars and shops.Throughout the year there are fiestas, parades and firework displays both in Denia and the surrounding area. The port is used by the local fishermen landing their daily catch as well as the ferry operators with daily services operating to Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera.The yellow sandy beaches in the area have more EU Blue Flags for clean and safe bathing than any other area in Spain

  • A security deposit of £200 is required with each booking. This is refunded when the property is vacated subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property by our local representative.
    A non refundable deposit of 20% of the booking price is required in order to secure the reservation with the balance payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.
    The cleaning of the property and linen change at the end of your stay is included within the rates quoted.
    General towels are provided for your stay but please bring your own beach towels.
    A guests welcome pack can be provided for your arrival which will include a range of groceries, drinks etc. This is provided by our managing agents at an approximate cost of £20. Please confirm if this is required at least 8 weeks before departure.
    Discounts are available for long term bookings.
    All rates are subject to change at the owners discretion.
  • For those guests without a car or who do not wish to drive, we can arrange for a driver to be available for the duration of your stay. This service will include meeting you at the airport, driving you to the villa, transport for trips out for three days and three evening trips and return transport to the airport. This facility and trips out can be as flexible as you wish. Please contact the owner if any further information, price details etc are required.

  • The property has two internal bathrooms as well as outside accessed facilities. The en-suite bathroom facilities ar located off the master bedroom and are fully tiled with all sanitary facilities along with a large walk-in shower. The family bathroom which is located between the two family bedrooms is half tiled and has a bidet, hand basin and bath with shower installed over it. Adjacent to the swimming pool is an external shower with hot / cold water which is ideal for use before or after using the pool.There is also a toilet which is accessed externally from near the BBQ area. Within the kitchen an automatic washing machine is provided along with clothes drying rails.

  • The property has three bedrooms and sleeps up to a maximum of 6 people. The master bedroom has a window and patio door offer unobstructed views to the rear mountain range. The room has a king sized bed, built in wardrobes and dressing area which leads to the en-suite facilities. Bedroom two has a window and patio door overlooking the pool area. There are two single bedrooms and built in wardrobes. Bedroom three is located to the front of the property and its window overlooks the front landscaped garden. The room has two single beds and storage cupboards.These two bedrooms are located adjacent to the family bathroom. All bedrooms are installed with individual air conditioning and heating units. Windows are installed with built in black out shutters in order to keep the sun out when you want that long lie in. We have provided the use of a travel cot and high chair for the benefit of guests as required.

Notes: The property was completed in June 2007 and stands in recently landscaped gardens which include a covered pergola under which to park your car during those long sunny days. The villa is fully furnished to a high standard and we are continually adding to the furniture and facilities we provide in order to make your break as memorable and pleasurable as possible. We have also provided a range of DVDs, books and toys for use by our guests. The property is covered by the SMC Residential Contract which provides a security service as well as a point of contact in the event of an emergency.Further details are provided at the villa. Facilities on Monte Pego include two bars La Cova and Beanu Vista, a number of excellent restaurants offering Spanish, English, French and Swiss menus, beauty salon, internet facilities, occasional market stalls selling local produce, art gallery and sports facilities including handball / tennis and pitch and putt. During the summer months BBQ are held.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Listed below are some of the local attractions- El Vergal Safari Park about five minutes drive from Monte Pego which offers a drive through the wildlife enclosure with the lions and tigers as well as access to the large zoo area and associated amenities. Go carting there are a number of circuits within the area suitable for drivers of all abilities. Boat rides operate from the port in Denia and are ideal for a day out along the coastline or for go further afield to the Balaeric Islands for that longer stay. The area is very popular for the traditional markets which operate in the surrounding towns on most days.Car boot sales are also popular. Further details of the times and locations are available at the villa. The resort of Benidorm is located about 30 minutes drive away for those wanting a change of pace. Here you can find a wide range of water / pleasure parks, theme shows, bars and restaurants. The water skiing on the main beach area is a popular attraction.

SHOPPING: Denia offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops for all ages. It is reported to be the shoe capital of Spai !! so gents you have been warned. In recent years the infrastructure has been totally updated which has resulted in a growth in the number of shopping complexes opened.Within about 10 minutes drive of the villa at Ondara a new 135 million euro centre has just opened which provides a wide range os shops including C & A,s.There is also a muti-plex cinema complex, bowling alley and various food outlets. At Gondara there is a smaller centre along with a large hypermarket complex. Similar facilities are also available around the Benidorm area which is about half an hours drive away. There are a number of Supermarkets in the immediate area with the nearest located in Pego. A new facility is currently under construction about 5 minutes drive away.

SPORTING FACILITIES: For those interested in golf there are a number of high quality courses available within the area. These include- La Sella Golf Club which is a par 72 course with all club facilities available. Javea Golf Club which is a 9 hole par 72 course located about 20 minutes drive away. Olivia Nova Golg Club which is an 18 hole par 72 course located about 15 minutes drive away. For motorsport fans the villa provides an ideal base to visit Valencia for the Motorcycling MotoGP as well as World Superbikes and the various testing sessions which teams carry out at the circuit.This year 2008 the first street Formula 1 car GP was held at Valencia and this is due to return in 2010. Within the immediate area there are a number of other sporting facilities available which include horse riding, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing and canoeing. The area is also a popular base for walking and cycling based holidays with a number of organised trips available.

Other Activities: Winter snow skiing is available within a 2 hour drive from the villa.
