KHIRON LODGE is a Home away from Home, 8-12 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge by BR train. Our station is Denmark Hill. The bus services are excellent and run 24hrs. The atmosphere is inspiring and tranquil, there is no traffic noise at all. The rooms are spacious, the windows are large, the ceilings are high. FEATURES One bedroom with a back care orthopaedic bed. The lounge has Victorian sash windows, digital TV, DVD player, FREE Wi-Fi and two sofa beds. The kitchen has everything you could need, down to cheese slicers, potato peelers and tin foil for your oven adventures - and a balcony. The bathroom has a bath with shower and a large re-claimed Victorian sink. MORE FEATURES Parking is FREE and unrestricted - usually right outside the door. Travel info and maps are provided. Your journeys can be fully planned before you leave the apartment. We keep toys and DVD's for your children. Two play-grounds within 2 mins walk. You will love coming 'home' after a hectic day

CAMBERWELL(2.5 m south of the Thames river) is vibrantly arty, eclectic and multi-cultural. The locals are friendly. Lovely cafes and restaurants abound, sample foods from around the world. The pubs are great, try Jazz in the Crypt of St Giles Church. Playground within 2 mins walk. Lovely big parks nearby - Ruskin park in Denmark Hill and Dulwich Park by Dulwich Village The famous CAMBERWELL COLLEGE OF ARTS is a 3 minute walk away. Camberwell is home to the South London Gallery. Camberwell Grove and Grove Lane have some of London's most ELEGANT and well preserved GEORGIAN HOUSES (2 mins walk). Camberwell is home to one of London's largest teaching hospitals, Kings College Hospital. DULWICH VILLAGE (SE London's most up-market area) and DULWICH PARK are just down the road - beautiful and quite perfect! The park has a fantastic cafe, bike hire and duck ponds. DULWICH PICTURE GALLERY is a major visitor attraction. BRIXTON market is un-missably colourful.

  • The bathroom is fitted with natural pine and plenty of mirrors, robe hooks and hangers. The sink is very large, a lovely re-claimed Victorian one on a pedestal. The tub is standard size with a hand shower. There is a mirror cabinet as well as pine shelving, in addition to a shower basket.

  • The bed is a standard double size with a back care mattress. Duvet and cushions are synthetic anti-allergy. Two sofa beds in lounge comprising 1) one chair which folds out into a bed - 2) one sofa with removable cushions (ideal for children who want to sleep on thee bedroom floor near mum and dad). The bedroom is spacious, very quiet and peaceful. The walls are painted in pale yellow, the bedlinen is matching, the curtains are white and there is a black out blind. Storage: One large chest of drawers, one wardrobe with hooks and hangers. The second wardrobe is our linen cupboard and is kept locked.
