Located on a hill overlooking Paihia town centre, the views from Vista del Mar take in the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and the Waitangi Golf Course (both just 5 minutes drive away) and across the Bay to the historic village of Russell. Within 7 - 10 minutes walk are excellent swimming beaches and easy beautiful coastal walks, plus a variety of restaurants and holiday shopping. Not forgetting the many and varied boat trips and water sports available from the Paihia wharf. Many other sites and attractions are readily accessible. Kerikeri is 20 minutes drive away with historical sites, citrus orchards, wineries, art & craft and fine shopping. A trip to a Kauri forest is 25 minutes north and day tours to 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga are available, making Vista del Mar and the Bay of Islands the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions that Northland New Zealand has to offer.

Notes: Vista del Mar has spectacular views of both the sea and historic New Zealand sites from all major rooms and the terrace . The house has a large double garage with internal access to the house. It also provides a full laundry with clothes washer and dryer. There is also outdoor & indoor clothes drying lines. The home is fitted with a full security system. Elderly guests do need to be aware that the house is on 2 levels, so internal stairs need to be negotiated.
