This lovely villa was completed in 2004 and is a great destination for a relaxing holiday. Outside, it has a large sunny west facing terrace with fantastic views of the coastline and the Bernia Mountains, a perfect aspect for enjoying a glass or two whilst watching the glorious sunsets. There is a shady naya which has a dining table and chairs for al fresco meals. The pool is a very generous 10m x 5m, ideal for all the family to play in safely. In the front of the villa there is a second terrace overlooking the large established garden. This terrace is ideal for catching the early morning sun or afternoon shade. Inside the villa, the lounge/dining area is furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style. The 3 bedrooms (one en suite) are equipped with ceiling fans and have mirrored wardrobes which offer ample storage and create a sense of spaciousness. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, cooker, hob and microwave. There is a washing machine in the main bathroom.

The villa is on Cumbre del Sol, a residential area on a mountainous headland conveniently situated between Moraira and Javea (a 10 and 20 minute drive respectively). The 360 degree view from the top of the mountain has fantastic views over the Costa Blanca coastline. The local beach (with bar/restaurant) is set in a spectacular cove and is only 5 minutes away by car. There are a couple of local bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the villa and 2 well stocked supermarkets within 2 kilometres. Moraira has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive, upmarket family holiday resort. It has a colourful main street and square, where in summer you can watch street entertainers or visit the evening craft market. It also has an excellent variety of shops and restaurants and an open air market every Friday. Nearby are the resorts of Javea,Calpe and Benidorm. There are also a number of small coves to wide, sandy gently shelving beaches within easy driving distance.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We require an initial deposit of 25% at the time of booking. An additional £150 security deposit to cover damages will be paid when the final balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. The security deposit will be returned within 7 days of the end of the rental following the safe return of the villa keys and an inspection by our villa manager.
    We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.
    The villa is available after 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.
    Normal rental periods are from Saturday to Saturday but this may be flexible depending on time of year and availability. We appreciate that during the peak months of July and August midweek flights may be cheaper and more convenient.

Activities in the area: There are numerous activities for all ages, here are a few: Terra Mitica theme park and Aqualandia water park at Benidorm. Benidorm Palace cabaret. Valencia - a vibrant city with an interesting old quarter and the space age museum of arts and sciences. There are 5 or 6 golf courses within an easy drive of the villa.

Towns, villages and mountains: One of the highlights of this area are the many varied towns and villages both inland and by the coast. Most have weekly markets where you can grab a bargain. In the peak summer months they all hold fiestas with events such as paella competitions, bull running and fireworks. Some hold Moors & Christians parades where the residents dress up in stunning period costumes. The Northern Costa Blanca is renowned for its spectacular mountains and there are numerous walks graded from an easy stroll to a strenuous climb. Try Calpe Rock - not for the faint-hearted!

Beaches : Local Cumbre beach – (5 mins) A pretty beach with a spectacular backdrop of cliffs. It has 2 beach bars in summer. El Portet – (10 mins) Gently shelving sandy beach in a cove between Cumbre and Moraira. Moraira – (10 mins) Busy sandy beach in the centre of town. Granadella – (20 mins) A pretty, sheltered beach great for snorkelling. Arenal – (20 mins) Sandy beach with a good selection of restaurants. Calpe – (25 mins) Gently shelving sandy beach which is ideal for young children. Again, it has a good selection of restaurants.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this villa in July.
It's really spacious, light and practical house.
The swimming pool is huge but the water is never cold.
The Mediterranean garden is beautiful and very well maintained.
The landlords are really nice and give a lot of information and support to give us the holidays better and easier and as interesting as possible and we want to thank them for that...

Our family stayed here for 2 weeks in April 2009. Our 2 daughters had a wonderul time as did we.The villa is exactly as described in the detail. The layout is very well considered and the fixtures and fittings are all completed to a high standard. We found the villa a superb base for our family holiday.

The pool was very inviting albeit very cold but I am sure will be fantastic in the summer months once it has had chance to heat up.

I would strongly recommend that you hire a car as the location is on a hillside and quite a distance should you wish to access local amenities and beaches.

All in all a fantastic holiday villa and the owners are exceptionally helpful and thoughtful.
