Getting there:
Getting to Kimberley is easy. From the UK and Europe flights to Calgary are very good value and the flight time from from Manchester, for instance, is about eight and a half hours. Hire a car in Calgary and your holiday is ready to really take off. The drive to Kimberley is a straight forward drive on uncluttered roads through stunning scenery. Perhaps you would like to stop off at Radium Hot Springs and soak in the delicious warm waters for a while before continuing on to Kimberley.
The other way is to take a connecting flight and fly into Cranbrook Airport which is a mere twenty minute from Kimberley. You can then hire a car or take a taxi, Either way is easy and straightforward.
North American guests may be able to fly direct to Cranbrook, (now the Airport of the Canadian Rockies), from a number of Canadian and US cities.
Kimberley is also a mere one hour drive from the US Border

Kimberley and Area:
Kimberely is known as the Bavarian City of the Rockies as the town itself is built on a Bavarian theme. Kimberley is a very small and quiet town but boasts really good places to dine and some interesting shops to browse. It is a very short ride down the road from the Kimberley Alpine Resort.
In the resort there are two opportunities for eating out, ski shop, ski hire and ski ticketing all in a compact space. There is absolutely no chance of getting lost, everything is right there.
Apres ski is limited although there is occasional live music and other entertainment. If you are looking for the high life then this is not the place but if you want a friendly, very Canadian, family friendly resort look no further.
Kimberely is a four season resort where you can enjoy excellent skiing, fantastic golf courses within minutes, amazing game fishing ,wild life spotting, walking and mountain biking and swimming in pristine lakes. The Fall has colours to equal New England. Visit any time.
Other Activities:
Sight seeing, dining out, seasonal festivals (music, accordion) relaxing
