Award winning 5 bedroom villa (sleeps 10) set in the hillside with breath-taking sea views and a luxurious private pool and surrounding area.Perfect for families and friends, Villa 175 has 5 double bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms and 3 further shower rooms all designed to a very high standard. The focal point of the villa is a large balcony with unparallelled views where stunning sunsets can be enjoyed whilst dining. The villa is fully equipped to cater for 10 and facilities include a large pool and sun loungers, a BBQ, kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, oven and dishwasher.There is also a kitchenette downstairs with a fridge/freezer, sink, washing machine and handy breakfast bar.There is an open plan dining room, a cosy living room equipped with DVD player and TV with some Sky channels.Air conditioning is available upon request at an extra cost. The villa is a 15 minute walk away from the beautiful white sandy beach of Son Bou and surrounding restaurants and bars.

Bedrooms on this floor include a twin bedroom, ove: The ground floor bedrooms include a twin bedroom, overlooking the verandah, with ensuite bath/shower, and a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom and massage shower system. All 5 bathrooms have been recently installed. A spiral wooden staircase leads downstairs to 2 twin bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms, also fitted with massage shower systems.A spacious master bedroom opens on to the verandah,has a king sized bed and a large ensuite bathroom. Down a few steps is the newly refurbished, spacious poolside area which has a large pool (approx 13m x 5m), shower and sun loungers.Weekly maid service. Villa 175 is a 20 minute drive from the airport and all popular towns including Fornells, Ciutadella, Mahon and Binibequer. Local Town: Son Bou (a short walk away) has a great variation of lively bars, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets with an array of evening and daytime family entertainment and a bowling alley. Nightclub: 'Cova d'xoroi' is a 25 minute drive from the villa.

A mini supermarket is within a 5 minute walk (fresh bread and most newspapers).Golf (18 holes) is at Son Parc a 25 minute car journey.Excellent windsurfing and sailing lessons are available at Fornells also 25 minute car journey.The centre of Mahon ,a place to visit ,is a 30 minute drive. There are numerous beaches within a short drive from the villa. A good selection of restaurants are within 10-15 minutes walk.The Port of Mahon,Es Castell,Fornells,Cala Galdana ( lunch overlooking the bay) Ciutadella(lunch by the small harbour)are just some recomendations as there are many places to eat on the Island.

Other Activities: Fornells is 20mins (perfect for wind surfing).Son Parc 20mins(golf)

Lovely villa to spend a relaxing holiday

Four of us spent a lovely relaxing week at the end of September - early October. Very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped villa, situated in a nice quiet cul-de-sac which was ideal for us. We know the area quite well and Son Bou is our favourite holiday destination on the island. We were very lucky with the weather considering it was end of season and spent a lot of the time relaxing by the pool with afternoon visits to the beach. Also had wonderful BBQs each evening dining al fresco on the balcony and taking in the marvellous sea views, although on this occasion we never managed to see Majorca in the distance. Richard along with his agents in Son Bou were both very helpful and we have no reservations in reccomending this villa to others, especially if there is a large party of you going.

A car is required, but I would say that you always need a car anyway if going on a self-catering villa holiday!

Nice 40" (I think) widescreen TV for the odd possible wet spell or to take in the daily news from back home should you wish.

Hope to return for a week in 2010!!

Stupendous Villa

Although this was our 30th visit to the island we never tire of the charms of Minorca and particularly the area around Son Bou and Torre Soli.
This superb villa shows the vista of the mediterranean at its best with views out towards Majorca and the most glorious sunsets.
The villa itself is certainly the premier accomodation in the area with very comfortableliving rooms and extraordinary spacious balconies
affording the aforementioned views. The bathrooms are all up to the highest standards.
Another advantage is the position of the property which is situated at the end of a no through road so does not suffer from passing traffic.
All in all - most enjoyable

Great villa = great holiday!!

One word....excellent!!

This lovely villa was more than spacious enough for the six of us that stayed here. It was well-maintained, clean throughtout and a joy to live in.

The amount of bathrooms throughout the villa was excellent and they were all clean and well-kept.

The swimming pool and views from the villa were extraordinary. The shops, beach and all other amenities are a pleasant walk away, and therefore very handy.

The owner (Richard) was very helpful and sorted any problems out quickly and promptly (not that we had many problems!)

We would 100% recommend this villa to others, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The villa was wonderful, fabulous views out to sea and a really useful layout and design, having five bedrooms and five bathrooms makes for a much more relaxing time. This is a house with the longe/dining area at the top, down a spiral staircase to bedrooms and more seating and then down another level to the pool, the excercise using the stairs means you can eat more without worrying about waistlines!The owner could not have been more helpful with our queries and requirements. The upstairs restaurant at Club San Jaime (<10 min walk) provided a first class 3 course meal for 14.95Euros. Car Hire was a real problem - PLEASE BOOK EARLY. I would highly recommend this villa.

Great Villa

I visited the villa in April 2009 with my sister and our children mostly teenagers. The villa is spacious and well planned out and with enough space for adults to sit quiet whilst the kids enjoy themselves.
The owner was brilliant and any problems were sorted immeadiately which lifted any worries.
We were lucky with the weather and the pool was wonderful if a little cold at this time of year (although this did not deter the kids).
The views from the villa are stunning and I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and spacious break away for up to 10 people.
