Vail House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 4)
When you stay at this newly remodeled two bedroom vacation rental condo in East Vail, you'll be tucked within tall, mature pine trees with a front row seat to the all the natural splendor stretching throughout the Vail Valley. Adjacent to over a dozen trail heads and a shuttle ride away to skiing and boarding at Vail Resort, the East Vail Getaway will be your ideal gateway to all the Rocky Mountain adventure you came for - without the crowds!
Inside you'll find it easy to relax on amenities like the leather couch, or with your feet up in the recliner as you watch a DVD or your favorite show on the big, flat-screen cable TV. Stoke the fire in the wood fireplace, sip a cup of cocoa or coffee, and listen to a CD as you create the perfect alpine ambiance. (There's also a dock for your iPod!). When you need a breath of fresh air, just slide open the glass door to the balcony and smell the pine-laden air while you soak up some mountain views.
At mealtime, fix anything you like in the full kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. Granite counters make cleaning up those spills a little easier, and the dishwasher means you won't be wasting time washing dishes.
This beautifully appointed condo sleeps four guests. You'll find a queen bed in the master bedroom and a twin-sized bunk bed in the second bedroom for the kids. This condo has one, nicely appointed full bathroom. While there is no washer/dryer within the unit itself, there is a coin-operated laundry room in the building.
East Vail is less developed, and that's its greatest virtue. Everywhere are the unspoiled advantages that come with the natural beauty of the Vail Valley. Hiking is, of course, very popular. Among the most popular trails are Big Horn Creek, Booth Falls, or Deluge Creek, and there are many more! (You can check them all out at: http://www.vail.travel/activities/vail-hiking.htmh.)
Head west 11 miles and enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and rafting on the Eagle River. For golfers, it's just 3 minutes to Vail Golf club. And of course there's horseback riding, and even hot-air ballooning. Cyclists can choose from 18 different bike paths. And that's just summer! Vail Ski Resort is just a short, 5 minute ride on Town of Vail's free bus service. A bus will pick you up right by the complex!
For skiers, East Vail has a unique challenge not found in the smartly manicured runs of Vail Resort down the road. Majestic and dangerous, the snow-covered caps of the East Vail Chutes are one of the best kept secrets of skiers worldwide. They are an exhilarating and dangerous (check for avalanche conditions) back country temptation for more advanced skiers looking for the proverbial unbeaten path. In summer, those same slopes that were dotted with intrepid skiers are home instead to cascading waterfalls!
