This immaculate apartment (142m sq) is self-catering, hot & cold air-conditioning, large shared pool, two seperate balconies overlooking the pool and with sea views, modern fully-fitted kitchen with microwave & dishwasher, washing machine/laundry room, TV/DVD, underground secure car parking. Within 10 minutes of the apartment you can be enjoying the many fabulous restaurants of Benahavis, enjoying the old town of San Pedro and Estepona, jet skiing at numerous beaches, playing golf on the many nearby golf courses of Los Arqueros, La Zagaleta and La Quinta or partying the night away in Puerto Banus. Montealmendros is situated in a valley just off the Ronda road between Benahavis and San Pedro. For the daytime, there are local bars and shops within 5 minutes; the beach in San Pedro is within 10 minutes; shopping in San Pedro (5 min), Puerto Banus (10min), Marbella & Estepona (15 min), Gibralta (30 min); Golf at Los Arqueros (5 min), La Zagaleta and La Quinta (10 min), the stunning gorge town and bullring of Ronda (45 mins). For the evening there are plenty of superb restaurants, particularly in Benahavis which is renowned for its fabulous restaurants & tapas bars. Others restaurants worth noting are Tikitano in Estepona, Villa Tiberius in Marbella & Pravda & Bandidos in Puerto Banus. There are nightclubs in Puerto Banus (12 euro in taxi); tapas bars in the old town of Benhavis & San Pedro, plus many beach bars. For the children, 2 Aquaparks 25 mins away at Torremelinos/Mijas, Crocodile Park in Torremelinos, Zoo at Selwoo (20 min), Tivoli World theme park at Benalmadena (25 min)

Additional information about rental rates

  • £100 deposit will be requested at the time of booking to secure your reservation and to act as a deposit. This will be refunded in full upon confirmation that our Term and Conditions have been met and upon return of the apartment keys.

    Full payment must be made 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
    Payment can be made in either Euros by bank transfer or in GBP by cheque or bank transfer.
  • SHORT STAYS: We can accommodate fewer nights than 4; however, should you wish to book fewer nights you will need to pay a £65 surcharge to cover the cleaning costs.

    CLEANING: The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival with fresh bed linen and towels. If you require an additional clean including a change of linen and towels, there is a charge of £65.

    COTS & HIGH CHAIRS are available at £30 each per week or part week.

    ADDITIONAL BED: An additional bed is available for £50 per week.

    BABY SITTING: This can be booked in advance and paid locally at 20euros per hour.

Notes: The air-conditioning is hot and cold. There are 2 separate balconies both overlooking the sea and pool to sunbathe on with sun loungers. There is a main barbeque area by the swimming pool. The swimming pool is only yards away from the apartment - you walk out of the apartment and down a few steps and you are at the pool. The apartment is on the 2nd floor - it is very secure with outside shutters, grilles on accessible windows and dead locks on all doors. Both bedrooms and the lounge open onto the front balcony. The second side balcony/terrace is accessed via two sets of French windows off the lounge/dining area. Due to the rural location I would recommend hiring a car should you wish to explore the area and beaches - although it is a 10 minute walk to local amenities including a bank, supermarket, taxi rank, bars and restaurants. It is easy to book a taxi due to the close proximity of the taxi rank and the cost of a taxi into Puerto Banus is 12euros.

Lovely secluded holiday appartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a lovely location close enough to the coast but in a quiet setting. The apartment is well appointed and in general good condition. I would definitely recommend a car although a lacal taxi service is easily available.
We arrived late at night and although very easy to find the urbanisation it is located on it was a little difficult to find the actual apartment complex. It would probably have been a lot easier if we had looked at the site map at the entrance when we first entered!
Our teenage son jand a freind joined us for a few days during our stay and made full use of the swimming pool and the second bathroom facilities!
The owners provided excellent customer service with very helpful and friendly advice to make our stay more enjoyable and provided a small provisions pack due to our late arrival which was very much appreciated. The facilities were well appointed with just a few minor maintenance items but nothing that spoiled our stay. I would suggest provision of a better parosoll on the outside dining table on the terrace, which was a real suntrap with a beautiful view.
We know the area very well and mostly enjoy the restaurants in the small mountain village in Benahavis with regular trips to Estpona, Marbella Old Town and San Pedro Alcantara which all have excellent pavement cafes and Tapas bars.

We arrived late at night and struggled initially to find the apartment from the directions. However, it was excellently located, although you do need a car to properly explore the area.
Property was clean throughout and had everything needed, and even though we went at the end of July, it wasn't busy. We could get by the pool without any difficulty.
Would highly recommend the property either to couples, families and especially to golfers - it's on the doorstep to some great courses !

The holiday was just what we were after. Lovely apartment in a great location for Marbella and Peurto Banus. Very quiet and peaceful.
The supermarket just up the road was ideal and we highly recommend the restaurant at the top of the road for good food at reasonable prices and great service.
We felt safe and secure.
The weather was fantastic for the entire holiday.
I think the only down side was it took us 2 hours to find the apartment but we were looking for it in the dark - just some better signs would have helped.
Other than that we couldn't fault it and would love to go again.

Excellent Apartment

I would definitely recommend this apartment. We are a party of two adults and two teenage girls who stayed for a week in August 2009. The apartment facilities are excellent and the pool/garden area is beautiful. We hope to return next year. You do need a car as it is quite a walk to the nearest shops/restaurants but ideal for anyone who likes a quiet location with plenty of facilites a short drive away.
