This was our second time at this cottage, it is like stepping back into old untouched florida away from the tourist over crowded beaches and generic hotels. John and Liz are vary nice and greeted us when we arrived, we just needed to bring our toothbrushes and groceries the cottage. It is fully stocked including BBQ. The cottage is decorated in vintage charm stocked with music, and books. Perfect place to UNPLUG which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved the beach that was just a short walk away from the cottage and not overcrowed. We caught the sunsets each day and enjoyed talking to the locals, and having an ice cream from the Kookie Coconut. The Kookie coconut has the BEST Cuban sandwhich. and is family run super nice people and across the street, Guppies was also very good.
We brought our bikes and rode them everywhere or walked, several nice nature parks near by, or just enjoyed sitting on the front porch or in the backyard. This is the perfect couples retreat. We thank you John and Liz for sharing your little piece of paradise. We will definatly be back.
