This charming and romantic split-level apartment is located in a pedestrian street, just behind the Uffizi Gallery, a mere 30 meters from Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. On the second floor of a period building entirely restored with elevator, the apartment is graciously furnished and tastefully decorated in typical Florentine style, with wooden beam ceiling and “cotto” flooring. It is 60 sqm arranged over two floors and comprises, on lower level, hall with small storage room, separate kitchen with small table for breakfast, living room with sofa-bed (large single bed) and dining table with seating for up to 6 people. Inner stairs lead to the upper level where is a cosy bedroom with double bed (divisible into two single beds if required) and one single sofa-bed, a built-in closet, a modern bathroom with bath-tub and wall-mounted shower. All rooms have windows overlooking the quiet inner courtyard (with no cars parked). Suitable for 2-3 people. Perfect for couples !

My husband and I had a 7 night stay at the Uffizi Apartment for our honeymoon in early June. Like most first time travelers to Europe, we were not sure of where to stay. Then we came across Rosella's add and decided to give it a chance. When we arrived at the apartment, Rosella greeted us the works. From Florence's historic wine to abundance supply of Nutella and enough information about Florence and the surrounding area to make sure we had our fill of Florence. The apartment is literally a stones throw away from the Uffizi Gallery and very close to all the local/tourist attractions. Rosella even had a couple of booklets made up of all the great local restaurants, pizzerias, pastry shops, gellaterias and even local english speaking doctors!! She also set up a great dinner at a historic restaurant, which happens to be next door to the apartment. The apartment is clean and full of your basic necessities, as it is a second home to Rosella. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in Florence. Thanks again for everything Rosella - We'll be back soon.

I lived in Florence for 20 years and chose this flat because of its fantastic location in the centre of Florence. The street is totally quiet and has an excellent trattoria on the corner and a wine tasting and speciality local cheese shop a few doors away.There is an excellent little bar serving coffee and croissants. There are various food shops in the vicinity.
The flat itself is charming and clean and tastefully done up in the typical Florentine way. The little kitchen is well equipped and breakfast for 2 can be had there. The main sitting area has a table with six dining chairs and a sofa, all done up in local tuscan style. There are beautiful books on art and cooking for browsing and the feeling is of a home from home. The lovely wooden staircase takes you up to a bedroom with a very comfortable bed with pretty bedding. There is sufficient storage place with fitted wardrobes. The bathroom is comfortable and has a good shower and bath.
The owner is very kind and provides many touches not found in holiday rentals, including wine on arrival, delicious jams and some other basic food items.
I would thorougly recommend this holiday let and plan to go back and stay in the flat again on my next visit to Florence!
