This property is in an ideal location in Porto Venere, close to beaches, supermarket, restaurants, cafes a short stroll to everything! There is a spectacular view from the terrace and bedroom windows and the house is fully equipped for inside and outside dining and entertaining. Everything is clean and well looked after and most comfortable. We would return to this property in a flash - We had a wonderful week with many fond memories of Porto Venere and this lovely villa. Beware of Hidden Extra Costs

There were 2 significant extra costs with this property that the owner did not inform us of. There is a final cleaning cost of €100 charged in addition to the rental charge, regardless of how clean you leave the property. Also it costs €78 per week to park in the road outside the property. Often spaces were difficult to find, even at the end of October.

The view from the property is fabulous and it is stylishly furnished.

There are 30 very steep steps leading from the road to the flat which would be difficult for young children(buggies), elderly or disabled guests to negogiate.

The electrics went off each time we used the oven, (The owner warned us of this). The shower drain in the ensuite bathroom overflowed onto the floor. There was a strong smell of gas from the second kitchen which we consequently didn't use. I would have expected a Wi Fi connection in an appartment at this price.

I would not use again, nor recommend this property.
Owner's Response: Sincerely I don't want to rent my house to this people so unpolite and not saying the true again: since the first requested they where informated that the final cleaning was not comprised, as written on the web site, in the renting price and was clear it was 100€.Anyway the proprety after a week where four people had stayed is not clean as we left it at the arriving date. The guests knew that the house has not the parking, however you can park your car on the road and it costs 55€ indeed 78€. The stairs to reach the house are 15 and not 30!!! I had also adverted them if they had switched on all the household-electric the eletricity would have put off (not just switching on the bak!!). On the web site you can see in Portovenere there isn't the wifi. I think the guest mentioned just wants the negative aspects of his staying just because he didn't want to pay what he had to. I repeat: I don't reccomend this guests to anyone.

wir waren für eine Woche in diesem Appartment und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Allerdings gibt es kleine Abstriche...ein Badezimmer ist wirklich sehr sehr klein und in dem anderen Badezimmer ist die Dusche sehr sehr klein.
Nur die Beschreibung 10 m zum Strand stimmt nicht. Es ist keine direkte Strandlage sonderen in der 2.Reihe am Hang und es gibt vorne dran nur einen Hafen. Zum Strand (klein) muss man ca 200 m laufen.
Und es herrscht Parkplatzmangel. Beim haus gibt es keine Parkmöglichkeit, so daß man auf die öffentlichen angewiesen ist ..die natürlich immer voll sind und ausserdem eine Wochentaxe von € 55 kosten.Die Wohnung ist sonst sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liebevoll ausgestattet..
Der Ort Portovenere ist zauberhaft und gut zu erreichen. Auch ist ein Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke.
