Stylishly furnished the 3 bedroom detached villa comprises: Entrance hall, brand new fully fitted kitchen/utility room, feature circular dining room, large lounge area with two sofas - one a double sofa bed. Algarvian fireplace, stereo, 37in LCD TV with UK channels via SKY, DVD. WIFI, double patio doors leading to covered terrace with comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs. The Club boasts 4 attractive pool areas (one heated in winter), 3 restaurants, 1 snack bar, mini golf, on-site mini-market, nearby tennis courts. There is 24 hour reception with English speaking staff where you can book golf, day trips and excursions and a cash machine is on site.

Notes: Suitability: Great family accommodation. However renters should be aware that the garden is on many levels, with steps and an unfenced pool area. Parking is available very close to the front door and the the villa is all on one level making the inside and covered terrace suitable for elderly or infirm but the outside pathways are uneven making it unsuitable for wheelchair users. NEW FOR 2010 POOL ALARM which sounds inside and outside the villa in the event of a child entering the water. This can of course be deactivated when the pool is in general use.

'Vista Verde' is fully air conditioned with a separate unit in each room. Extra features include Sky TV, Portable TV and Play Station 2 with games. Outside there are 3 different dining areas so you can choose to dine in the sun or the shade. A large roof terrace with sun chairs provides extensive views over the complex and towards the coast. There is parking space for several cars and a car port.

Bring your lap top for free wireless broadband throughout the villa and on the terrace. A large selection of DVDs are available for your use plus a few indoor and outdoor games. Car hire is recommended for getting the best from your Algarve holiday as Albufeira is well placed in the centre of the Algarve, making fabulous beaches, golf courses and many attractions just a short drive away. If you prefer not to drive, the club runs a courtesy bus from reception (5 - 10 minute walk down the hill), or there is a bus from outside the complex every half hour. A taxi ride into town is around 4 Euros.

We can arrange private transfers from the airport for 40 Euros each way up to 4 guests and 50 Euros each way for 5 - 7 guests.

The villa was great. It is tastefully decorated while still being comfortable and very well eqipped.
Well laid out with plenty of space, comfortably housing our extended family without feeling on top of each other, the garden and pool are also lovely with comfortable loungers beside.
The only 'fault' is that it is up a hill, but they all are!
Owners are really helpful too.

Fantastic holiday accommodation!

Just returned from 9 nights in Vista Verde and all the family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Lovely, spacious, well maintained and equipped villa. Great pool, PS2 and Wii for the kids (young and old!) Lots of information from the owners Melanie and Duncan, and we can't thank them enough for all the help and advice both prior to travelling there and during our stay.

The villa is 10 minutes stroll from the main reception at Clube Albufeira and you pass by the well stocked shop and the mini golf en route. Note that on the way to the villa there is 2 short but very steep hills so not suitable for walking for all but won't be a problem for most.

We never used the courtesy bus from reception but for 40 cents they will phone a taxi and a trip to the old town is about 5-6 Euros with the fantastic Algarve Shopping Centre with hypermarket about 7-8 Euros. All taxi drivers are courteous with direct routes taken and no "long way" to run the meter higher!

In the evenings you may have to wait a while for a taxi but on one occasion reception provided a mini bus for 1 Euro each to the old town.

Albufeira old town is very nice with a great main square with many bars and restaurants (we ate at "The Bank" 3 nights in a row - fantastic food and great selection).

Another worthwhile trip is to the Aquashow water park (has Europe's biggest water coaster and a fantastic "White Fall" rubber ring slide. Just over 100 Euros for 2 adults and 2 children including coach transfer (book via reception). The coach collects you at the bus stop on the SAME side as the complex (we were informed by reception staff it was across the road and had to watch the coach drive by on the day we wanted to go! Reception phoned and transferred it to the next day and it was a great day out 9am - 4.30pm)

This was our third villa holiday in succession and after trips to mainland Spain and Lanzarote previously this was voted the favourite by all of us (kids aged 12 and 10).

Overall a great holiday opportunity awaits and we may even return next year.
